Avril’s Baked Joy

Everything was so good! I ordered several different menus and the Korean Sausage Bread & Mocha Bun was the best. Overall, it was a bit ‘too’ sweet for me but if you are someone who likes sweet desserts, you should definitely check out. The owner, Avril is also super friendly!

So happy to see Avril’s Baked Joy open up a store front. They have a unique selection of baked goods, cake boxes and my all time go to is: Durian Crepe. The staff is very kind and everything is fairly priced.

My personal favorites were the egg tarts and ube taro cake! So flavorful but not too sweet. Just the perfect amount of flavor. Will definitely try their other desserts!

Everything was so good. I thought saigon deli shutdown after not being here for a year. But it got better! I will miss the saigon deli food. But oh my gosh love the Korean bread.

What a gem this is. The desserts were very tasty and not too sweet, just the way I like it. Service was friendly and run by an awesome team. I will definitely drop by again

Egg. Tarts. Get the egg tarts. The egg part was creamy with a slight sweetness paired with the flaky crust… it was amazing. Absolutely worth a trip!

Got strawberry cake and tiramisu and they both were delicious. Highly recommended

What a nice little gem. Had a late night craving for red velvet. They have the most adorable individual sized cakes so I got to try the strawberry cake too. I will definitely be back again!!

Visited April's Baked Joy yesterday on their opening day. My family tried a variety of desserts and the original milk tea. The strawberry cake was one of the best cakes I've ever tried and I will be definitely coming back to buy some for my upcoming birthday. Very moist, with balanced amounts of sweetness and flavor. The red velvet cake was also very nicely made. We also tried a Custard bun and it was 10/10 no complaints. The bun was soft and the filling with slivered almonds were delicious. Finally we had the milk tea! The portion was large and so we were able to share it amongst ourselves. Sweet with really great flavor. The bubbles are a bit of a different texture than I've encountered before, but that really didn't hinder the experience. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Service was also done in great timing. Definitely recommend this bakery to treat yourself to a modern Vietnamese baking experience. Reasonable pricing for what they items are, too. Looking forward to trying some of the savory items next. ALSO, I like the packaging the cakes come in. Very nice for presentation! Wishing Avril's Baked Joy lots of success

Tried the Coffee Buns and Creme Brulee Buns, the Tiramisu Cake Box. the egg tart and the Peach/Black Iced Tea all pretty amazing. Found them on Instagram and will definitely go back. Staff so friendly and accommodating. They ran out of coffee buns but told me to come back in 2 hours and they will make a fresh batch for me as I'm from out of town. Told them I was in town only for the afternoon and they went out of their way to make a small batch for me. The coffee buns were worth the wait.
