Super friendly, family owned, went out of their way to accommodate us. We got the last site and it was across from the beach! We only stayed one night, beach and lake looked wonderful!

If you’re looking for a park that is noisy, unkempt and has poor services, then this is the place for you, otherwise, you might want to try another option. This is predominantly a seasonal park and while most of the coaches are fairly, new the campground has been around for many years. On passing through the gated entrance, we drove through the park to the office, which is located by the lake. Check-in was efficient and the chap led us to our site (B1). The roads are sand/gravel, but are well maintained, although in a number of places are narrow for big rigs. You also have to be careful on some corners. Our site was located at the entrance on a corner, it was long (70’), sand base with services well located. Water quality is good, but pressure is low. Electrical power is stated at 30 amps, but we only got 24 on a good day and anywhere from 15 to 20 on the last day. After tripping the breaker numerous times, I called the office to report a bad breaker, but was told it was the lines. Basically they advertise 30 amps, but the infrastructure cannot deliver. Wi-fi was excellent, both signal strength and bandwidth. This is bear country, but the garbage is an open trailer covered by a temporary enclosure that is covered on 3 sides, but open on the front. Located next to the garbage was a dump station, as about ½ the campground doesn’t have sewer, so they drive holding tanks over to the dump station, which stunk, every time I walked the dogs. Apparently coaches on the non-sewer side dump gray water directly onto a small pit in the ground. Campground rules, well we didn’t receive any, and based on our experience they either don’t exist or the management refuses to enforce them. Some of the seasonal sites are well maintained, but sadly most are unkempt, with multiple vehicles, ATV’s, bikes and kids toys strewn all over the place. Obviously no limit on the number of vehicles permitted at a site. Noise is constant: • kids screaming and shouting until midnight, • ATV’s and motorbikes driven by children, who didn’t look old enough to drive, at speeds well in excess of posted speed limits. No adult supervision apparent. • party on Saturday night with loud music until 03:30 • party on Sunday until about midnight, with excessive base. The owners obviously don’t enforce dogs being on leash, as our big dogs were run at by small barking dogs on multiple occasions daily, as we walked through the campground. They obviously don’t enforce picking up after your dog either, as the grass next to us had multiple presents. Will never return.
