We are one of the largest Pilates studios in Calgary equipped with high performance Pilates equipment and special accessories. The studio is bright and friendly with large wrap around windows that let in plenty of natural light year round. We have second story views and a special feature - our summer patio! We are located on the artistic and scenic 4th street SW at 25th avenue in the Mission Square professional building above The Tech Shop. Plenty of parking is available on the surrounding streets or in the parking lot behind the building off 25th ave.
Our focus is on you as a unique individual and recognizing your personal physical strengths and challenges. Our goal is to work with you to develop a program that creates a better movement quality and efficiency to prevent injury and pain, restore daily function or propel you to new peaks.
We are also an official STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Center and are dedicated to raising the standards of instruction through our Instructor Training programs. Instructors are encouraged to drop-in and utilize the studio for personal development.
Our Instructors are passionate about helping others achieve their physical and mind-body health, are detail oriented in their instruction and continue their education yearly to stay abreast of current issues in the industry.
What is STOTT PILATES®?
STOTT PILATES® is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Co‑founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent more than two decades refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and effective methods available. This clear and detailed approach forms the basis for STOTT PILATES training and certification programs. It’s used by rehab and prenatal clients, athletes, celebrities and everyone in between.
STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. Having developed more preparatory exercises and modifications to make the Pilates Method safer and more effective, STOTT PILATES exercises safely deliver optimal strength, flexibility and endurance, without adding bulk.
