Brought them in my brand new truck with 6000kms on it. It was freshly detailed the day before. After they replaced the windshield there was debris and dust everywhere inside the cabin! Upon further inspection they got black window sealant on my light colored headliner. Brutal! Now I get to figure out how to get it off. Won't be going back there again.
Went to leave for work this morning and noticed a huge crack in my windshield, it expanded by the end of the day, went to this location a couple years ago for rock chip repairs and they were so friendly and nice, quick fix and easy to deal with so I went back today. They are still the same amazing people, great prices, fantastic work, quick fix, thank you so much for making my day better! You guys are awesome! 10/10!! Before and after photos
Kevin and his crew were amazing to deal with, they squeezed me in same day & had my window done in an hour and a half. The price was the best in Calgary and you can’t go wrong supporting a business that fills food bank hampers the way they do.nn10/10, I’d recommend this location to anyone!
I had a terrible experience with CalAlta Glass and would not recommend them to anyone. I booked an appointment for a windshield replacement, only to arrive and be told the glass they ordered was damaged and had to be reordered. They told me to come back in 2 hours.nnOn my way home, my mirror assembly fell apart because their technician didn’t install it properly, nearly causing an accident!nnTwo hours later, before heading back, I called ahead to confirm the new glass had arrived. That’s when I was informed they now needed to charge me $400 more because their price had gone up! If I hadn’t called ahead, I would’ve wasted another hour dealing with this unprofessional mess.nnThe lack of care, poor communication, and outright negligence are unacceptable. Avoid these jokers at all costs!nn*update* After I left a review and saw their reply asking me to contact them, I thought it was only fair to give them a chance to resolve the issue. I spoke with Kevin, the store manager, who claimed there was “nothing he could do” to resolve the situation and refused to escalate it to the owner. He also refused to take responsibility for the situation. When I pointed out that they could have at least notified me of the price increase as soon as they discovered it, Kevin falsely claimed he had called me, which was untrue—I was the one who had to call them to find out!nnKevin also admitted that CalAlta Glass outsources their review service to a third party whose only role seems to be redirecting complaints back to the shop. This gives the impression they care about customer feedback, but in reality, they clearly do not.
Got a couple of rock chips filled on a busy weekend. I was attended to right away, and was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Staff were friendly and efficient. The repair appears to be nicely done, however the technician left a bit of glue/sticky residue that I’ve had scrub a few times to get off.
