We were searching for a nut free cake and we found this place, it's a fantastic place to buy nut free cake, there are options to even order cakes which are vegan and gluten free. Lots of variety and the cake looked really delicious. The customer service was great and would definitely recommend this and would go again. It's open till 6 pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.Please like my review if you find it helpful.

I had a very good experience with Cakes by Robert the Beach this week. I sent a description of the cake I wanted with a photo to 5 highly rated yelp/google cake shops in Toronto. Cakes by Robert replied promptly, asked clear questions, and finally provided me a quote that was reasonable. Our 30 person stacked cake finished in delicious light fondant with thick, buttery, sweet frosting inside the light cake was $215. We receive other absurd quotes starting at $475. I usually hate fondant cakes tbh, they usually kind of taste like plastic/rubber coating, but this fondant was amazing. Guests at my wife’s 40th loved it and many asked for referrals including some who come from New York with a much better culinary scene than Toronto. Honestly the design was spot on, service great, taste excellent. All around I would highly recommend this place for your next cake.

Ordered a cake for my mother's birthday. The decorator had creative suggestions for the design and the finished product looked and tasted fantastic. Will be back for sure.

Really disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered cupcakes for a school birthday party to be held in my child's class on Wednesday morning. I placed the order in advance Oct 5 and confirmed to pick up the order on Tues. Oct 11 between 4-6pm. We got there Tues at 5:20pm and the store was closed with a paper sign saying they closed at 3:30pm. No one bothered to call me to notify me of the sudden closing time or even to pick up my order earlier. I was left with no cakes for my child's school party. Both my daughter and I were very disappointed. I left a message at the store and no one even bothered to return my call the following business day. Will not be doing business with them again. Very Bad Customer Service experience.

We catered from Cakes by Robert for my mom's 50th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The cake looked and tasted incredible - moist and super sweet vanilla on vanilla. We also got an array of mini-tarts and some of their to-die-for brownies! I'm glad I ordered too much because everyone was fighting over the leftovers : The ordering and delivery processes were also very smooth. Excellent service and a great product.

Ordered my son's Paw Patrol cupcake birthday cake from them and it was so lovely and adorable, not to mention delicious. I asked for different characters than were in their PP window display my son likes Skye AND Chase!, and they looked fabulous. The cake itself was perfect, moist and fluffy and tasty. The frosting is also really good, not that greasy stuff. Their other treats that I've tried have all been very tasty as well. I just bought a pack of their cupcakes from ValueMart and they are equally yummy, so these guys are consistent. Every time we stop by for a mini cupcake they're delicious. So good in fact that a squirrel at the playground snuck into the basket under my stroller, chewed a hole in the cupcake box and extracted an entire mini cupcake without anyone noticing. I couldn't blame him/her.

Wonderful Establishment, I would usually grab a cupcake everyday with their seasonal icing. The actual cake itself is perhaps the best vanilla cake I’ve had. Seasonal flavours included Matcha Green Tea, Mango, Orange Cream, Cinnamon. They are polite and get to know you. Would always recommend and a nut free facility is a great call on their part.

Absolutely wonderful bakery, friendly staff and yummy cake. We ordered a Vegan cake and mini regular cupcakes for my Son's 3rd birthday Dinosaur Theme and the cake was delicious. The designer did a amazing job!

On Wednesday I visited this cake shop for the very first time. I chose a butter cheesecake tart. Delicious! I appreciated also the fact the prior to billing, the lady conveyed that for less than $10 worth of invoices, a credit card use would attract a small charge. So I used a debit card instead. I will certainly be back next week to pick up more. I am glad to have found this.

We ordered a vegan cake for my daughter's birthday. Frankly, I wasn't expecting it to taste good, just look nice....wow....it was delicious AND beyond gorgeous. Totally 5 stars!
