Clean, inexpensive, and well decorated. It definitely lives up to its car theme, with tasteful car decor through the Cafe. I'd say it would be a good place to work or take a quiet moment.

Great coffee, amazing Portuguese tarts, Jamaican coconut bread and other treats, delicious cold drinks from the Caribbean. Wonderfully hosted by Michael, who couldn't be more friendly. I've met some of the nicest people there. It's lovely to have a café in the neighbourhood. This is the best coffee I've had since I moved back to Ontario from the West Coast.

My husband went in for a coffee after walking the Whitby waterfront. We didn’t know it was cash only so we told the owner we would be back after getting some money, but he insisted that wasn’t necessary and graciously gave us the coffee for free. I’ve never experienced this kindness in any coffee shop!! My husband enjoyed his coffee a lot! What a friendly owner and place

Very clean and nice coffee spot with delicious treats and smooth coffee. Was there for the first time today and will definitely be back! If you have kids that love cars I would highly suggest you to bring them as well. Also the owner is very nice!

Caffeine Cylinders makes some of the best coffee in town and sells some great pastries and Jamaican patties. The price can't be beat and the setting is quite unique. I find it great to work, catch up with friends, or just have a cup of coffee and chat with Michael. Just make sure to bring cash since they are still working on getting electronic payments setup.

We had such a wonderful experience at this Cafe! Michael went above and beyond with making us feel welcome; serving us coffee and Jamaican coconut bread even though he had already closed down for the day. We were taking a short coffee break while travelling on the 401 and he made us feel like friends rather than just passerbys! Lovely place, delicious coffee, and friendly staff. We were greeted very warmly by the owner. We didn’t get a chance to try any of the food or pastries but we will be sure to come back again!

I'm new to Whitby and was looking on Google Maps for a coffee shop to go to. This one was the closest to where I lived and I gotta say, this place did not disappoint. I came in on a Monday morning and was greeted by Michael. He showed me around the "house" and I got to check out the awesome decor. Prices are good and food was tasty and on top of that there was free wi-fi. What more could you ask for as a frugal student?

I decided to stop by on my way home to grab a coffee. I found a friendly owner, delicious coffee, yummy pasteries, and a cool atmosphere. A Jamaican-Portuguese-Canadian coffee spot with no frills coffee that you should definitely check out!

Stopped for a quick coffee, the cafe is cozy and inviting. The owner is super friendly and talked with us about the place for a while. Good coffee at a very reasonable price, stop by if you're in the area
