Story

A quelques minutes de Montréal se situe un oasis de détente et de charme, appelé Saint-Lambert. Riche d'une histoire unique, dont on retrouve certains témoignages comme la maison ancienne abritant le Musée Marsil, ce village saura vous envelopper de sa verdure et de sa quiétude. Au sein de ce coin de paradis, le Café Passion, ayant élu domicile dans une ancienne maison de thé datant du XXe siècle - et qui s'appelait alors la Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co Ltd - vous offre aujourd'hui un décor unique constitué d'un haut plafond sculpté, orné d'un splendide lustre iranien en cuivre, de peintures murales ainsi que d'une magnifique terrasse au coeur de la ville.

This place used to be a favourite of ours until we moved away for 11 years, today it did not let us down!nnChèvre salad and Cappuccino for each of us, and met every bit of our expectations. This place is special in its charm and character, being in the center of Saint Lamberts downtown core it’s obvious the clientele is favoured amongst locals!nThank You Cafe Passion!
Although the rating you see here is 4 stars, I believe the correct number should be 3.5. The Californian salad I got was good; filling and loaded with good ingredients. The kombucha was ok; the taste itself was good, but just felt watered down. It also doesn’t help that I ordered the white kombucha and got the rosé instead. Otherwise we felt slightly rushed to order our food, with the waiter leaving before we could order our drinks we had to ask another waiter. Overall, this is a nice spot but just not a memorable experience.
I was disappointed I couldn’t get brunch at 2:08pm; 8 minutes past 2pm limit. Okay. I can’t eat a lot because I wear braces. I was annoyed. I guess the waitress didn’t like my attitude. I ordered a poutine. Vindictive waitress serves it cold; gravy gelatinous and lumpy. Really gross. Never going back.
Good place for early evening coffee and cake. Suggest skip breakfast or brunch because its very busy, eggs are not their strenght and I read the waiters are not very attentive. Come after 5pm, even on weekdays, and its really enjoyable.
Lovely places! The dishes are colorful. The coffee is very tasty too!
