Love this place. Spacious, bright and a lot of sittings. Good wifi. Large variety of coffee and drinks to choose from. All day breakfast, amazing croissant based sandwiches. Modern decor with central kitchen area. Love the window sitting to watch the city. Amazing pasta dishes. Avg 20$ meal. Open late. Friendly services and order from phone as option! Location: south west of Yonge and finch. Second floor, note entrance is on finch with a small door wall up to second floor. Great hang up place!
Came here to play board games on a Sunday night! Highly recommend because the tables are nice and wide and most folks are reading or studying so it’s super chill. Food was good and staff were very attentive with water and menu suggestions Definitely on the pricey side $70 for all the items and we brought our own game for fun.
I just had the most therapeutic solo coffee date ever at this cafe today. This cafe is spacious, clean and the staff are nice and friendly but are not pushing you to order/ pay etc. they just give you your space which I really appreciate!! I love the scan and order format and i just had the best matcha latte of my life from this place!
Happy they opened a branch at finch! Japanese fusion brunch spot with nice atmosphere. Love their Benedict, sandwich, black sesame latte. Pasta is very normal, even when some of them had interesting fusion ideas.
A lovely restaurant to take a rest when you went shopping along yonge street. Nice coffee and dessert to cheer up the day. The window seat is just perfect for enjoying the city view.Food: 4/5
Went here to meet up with a friend on Sunday afternoon. It is very spacious and comfy but was a bit loud from the lunch crowd. Drinks and pancake was good. Only issue is we were never given glasses of water until we asked after we finished our food and drinks. Other than that, pretty good place to stop by.Food: 5/5
Cute restaurant to have a drink. Also has different food dishes both savory and sweet. Kind of pricey in my opinion. Got the matcha lava cake and Earl Grey latte. Matcha lava cake was delicious. Not sweet and you can taste the matcha. However, it's a very small portion. Latte was just alright. Nice atmosphere inside.Food: 3/5
Got the waffle and carbonara. Overall service was decent and the food presentation was nice but the carbonara wasn’t that great. Really tasted like plain Japanese noodles and nothing really reflective of an actual carbonara. The bacon was nice and the waffles tasted pretty good as well. For the price point there’s nothing really that’s special. Downside is we pulled out a massive hair out of one of the salads which was pretty gross. Kind of brings concerns about the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the restaurant.
Got the karaage croffle and matcha latte with cranberry cookies. Lots of food for the price and the matcha/cookies weren't too sweet! There's lots of seating, the place is well lit and clean, and there's free wifi. It's the second floor of a building and does not appear to be wheelchair/walker accessible.
I’ve visited this location probably 5-6 different times just in January alone and I have to say I’m so happy that there is a cafe like this at Finch. The coffee, espresso based drinks, tea lattes and alcoholic beverages are all great! I love that the baristas can do latte art too! The food here is very tasty, the dishes shown in my review are the ones I highly recommend. Though I probably wouldn’t buy the shrimp tempura add on just because for price and what you get it’s really not much. Where the 1 star gets dropped because of the wifi and lack of power outlets compared to their Markham location This is a laptop friendly cafe and I’ve come to do work here on my laptop a few times and connecting to wifi is a nightmare! They have the wifi password on the little plaques on the table which to me signals they encourage you to connect and use their wifi. I often have to bring my laptop to the register for it to connect to the router. Once it’s connected it’ll stay connected for a while which is great. Many others while I’ve visited expressed issues with the wifi. Not sure what’s going on but hope they can fix it soon. They also don’t have as many power outlets compared to their Markham location which is disappointing since that location has them at almost every table! It’s definitely a place you can do work at until late at night but with the wifi being a bit unstable and the lack of plugs I suggest coming early if you want to secure a table with access the the power outlet or make sure your devices are fully charged. This location also has a wide range of seating which is great! If you have a group of 2-4 people getting a seat shouldn’t be a problem, but if you 5-8 people, best to book a reservation. Every time I’ve been here I’ve just walked in which is convenient. Overall highly recommend this place if you’re wanting to meet up with friends, go on a date, or to do some work. Love how it’s right at Yonge and Finch. There is also a paid parking lot right next to it if you’re driving. *note for accessibly, the cafe is located on the second floor and from what I saw, there isn’t an elevator or some sort of accessibly ramp. When I go again Ill ask or look around a bit more but from my visits I haven’t found a ramp or an elevator.
