I was told they were out of bread, despite having 3 loaves on the shelf out front. So I was told I couldn't order any of their sandwiches. I understand wanting to avoid running out or something, but maybe MOVE the bread out of view of customers if you're going to tell them they can't order sandwiches because there is no bread because it didn't make any sense and felt terrible. One staff said they could make sandwiches since there was also bread in the back, and another staff refused saying they couldn't buy more bread until tomorrow. Overall great atmosphere and great food/drinks once I managed to find something else to order.

This is a wonderful place to go. Very different all retro Style decor. Great customer service and a variety of options from the menu. Food is always fresh and tasty.

I posted an honest review of this place after spending many months there and they....BANNED ME. Seriously!!!! They banned me from their premise because of the review I wrote on Google! I never behaved badly in any way when inside. Just because of the review I wrote, they BANNED ME! I would recommend Common Ground Community Cafe anyway! Here is what I wrote and the reason they banned me: 1. They need to turn off the air conditioning in the winter. You have to wear your winter coat inside the place because they keep the place freezing cold. 2. Their coffee is often too bitter...burnt beans 3. No Cuban Coffee!!! 4. Watch for the pretty, slim dark-haired lady looking for a sugar daddy. Avoid her!!!

I was there in the morning for a coffee with a couple of other ladies and had an issue with our order. When I brought it to the attention of the worker she rolled her eyes and gave us attitude. So inappropriate for a simple fix. I recognize it was a mistake that we made however, it is poor customer service to make the customer feel stupid and look annoyed at the mix up! Then begrudgingly offer to fix it. No thank you! How unbelievably sad to watch this all happen to a senior. Actually arguing with the client and disrespecting them repeatedly with ignorance and attitude...lacking in professionalism! seems to be the norm these days..

I love the coffee and food here. My girlfriend and I had a great time. A nice place to relax and eat a delicious meal
