This was my first visit. I've heard there is another location as well. I was impressed with the overall look of the restaurant. Very trendy. Since it was a Saturday night I wasn't surprised there was a wait, but I didn't mind it either. It was very convenient to be able to be notified via our cell phone where we stood in the wait, and when our table was ready. That enabled us to walk around visiting different shops. The wait ended up being shorter than projected. I enjoyed the cocochata and the chicken bacon avocado wrap. I'd order both again, but also look forward to trying something else. Seems like a great place to dine when the weather is warmer.

Ive been to many of the Lowlands group restaurants countless times. So far, I've found the Brookfield location of Cafe Hollander to be adequate. They offer the same selections food and beer wise as any Hollander but we haven't had the best luck with the service. Perhaps they are just still working out the kinks? The space is quite large, with two floor. The large windows and patio spaces are neat features. But the overall feel is more that of a chain restaurant than the other locations. All said and done, I sill prefer the Tosa and Downer locations.

We were really looking forward to a family girls night out. We came with a party of 8 and knew we would have to wait. We were told 60 minutes. At an hour and a half (and after several inquiries with the hostesses), we were told the manager was cleaning our table. Then the hostess came back and said it would be another 20 minutes. After speaking with the manager, we got a table within a few minutes. It was so frustrating. Food was fine. Service was fine, but waitress did share some unrelated, awkward stories while delivering our food. Also, we wish the parking situation was better.

Burgers are good to very good. Sweet potato fries worth trying. Regular fries tasted stale. Salad welted and wet. Their feline bread was warm but tasteless. Service slow and not attentive. Large space with two floors and large glass windows, but feels like a chain. Crowded and loud. Unless trying different beer choices is important, I recommend looking elsewhere for good food and service.

The ladies of the family had a Christmas reunion here, and it was the perfect spot. We had a booth in the back, and although the place was crowded, the staff held the booth for the 5 of us because I got lost trying to fine it! Food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We were not rushed, and probably out-stayed our welcome,B ut it was a very special occasion!
