I delivered my baby in their new maternity center in Feb. 2018. I was amazed by the care and attention I was given. I never want to deliver at another hospital! The nurses were extremely polite and informational, being a new mom they answered all of my questions, assisted when needed, and let me do things on my own when I felt comfortable. All of my care was provided in the same room from start til finish, and during this very special and intimate time they were by my side every step of the way. Hands down best experience ever!

My daughter had surgery this morning, 03/20/2018- the staff were VERY knowledgeable and took excellent care of her, returned her to me as soon as her procedure was over. Staff is very friendly and polite. Was very satisfied with my stay at this hospital.

Cache Valley Hospital was so friendly. They cared very much how I was feeling, if I needed anything. They were very attentive and that meant alot.

I recently had my baby boy at Cache Valley Hospital. This was our 4th delivery, but 1st at CVH. We couldn't be more pleased with the care I and my baby received during our stay. I had a C-section and felt I was in caring, competent hands during the procedure- my doctor was Dr. Jon Ahlstrom. The nurses were available and ready to help any time during our stay. They were friendly and treated me with care and respect, I did not feel like I was just another patient. They helped educate me on aspects of baby care, and recovery that I was a little fuzzy on, as it's been 4 years since we had a baby. I want to give a shout out to Katie, Kari, Sarah, Chrysta, Anngee who were my nurses during our stay. You truly went above and beyond and we are deeply grateful.

Last year I had an upsetting experience. My husband went in for an MCL tear (or so the Dr thought). When he went in for surgery, I was told it would be approximately 45 minutes, and that someone would come and get me so that I could be there right when my husband came back from post-op. THREE HOURS LATER, as I was pacing and wondering what might have gone wrong, someone came to get me to tell me that my husband was ready to go home! He had indeed had additional problems with his knee, and they had to remove his ACL. He had already had 2 sodas and I totally missed the doctor's visit to hear how everything went. I was extremely disappointed. So I was very unhappy when Dr Larson told us that my husbands TKR this month would be done at CV Specialty hospital. However, we decided that maybe last year was a fluke. I want to share the good and the bad: GOOD: Sandy in surgery center. Very helpful, pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. Sarah - a student nurse on the floor. Very kind and helpful Kelly - an Aide on the floor - Very timely and helpful Physical Therapy - very knowledgeable and helpful. BAD: Three different times during my husband's overnight stay, the nurses were over 45 minutes late with his pain meds after he requested them. One even giggled and said "oh sorry, I totally forgot". One time he dialed the nurse at 3:30 needing pain meds. She told him she could bring him 1 now or that if he could wait until 4:30 - he could have 2. He opted to wait until 4:30. He was given his pain meds at 5:40. He was chasing his pain that morning for several hours. Two nurses were kind but unprofessional, just wanting to joke around. When my husband was ordering his first meal after surgery, he asked the nurse about his dietary process. She told him "oh you can eat anything and as much as you want". We both knew that after surgery, and with a block, that the bowels have a hard time starting up again. Fortunately, I knew to have him eat light. I was disappointed once again.
