The Busy Bee Market is a seasonal grocery & café in Kidder's Landing, NY on Cayuga Lake. Local produce, grocery, breakfast & lunch items.

Story

The Busy Bee Market is a seasonal lakeside grocery and café. Open 8-8, 7 days/week from May-October, we provide basic grocery items, local goods & produce. Busy Bee will also have a small menu for breakfast and lunch, as well as souvenirs. Come to the new community hub by car, bike or boat! Locals, boaters, bikers, renters, wine trail tourists are all welcome to stop in for ice, bait, newspaper, beer, a cup of coffee, or basic camping supplies. Customers can stop in quick or stay and sit awhile and have a glass of beer with a sandwich. The beautiful lake views from the patio are free.

I get it, you close at 2:00 on Monday, but at least kick everyone out and lock the doors if you don't want to serve us. If you're still letting people in the door, no need to be rude when we walk in and want ice cream… or just serve us. We wanted to spend money. Update: We went back today, and the food was good. The staff we dealt with today was actually very friendly. Someone must have been having a bad day yesterday.

Food was good but it took 47 minutes to get or sandwiches. They may have been busy, but it shouldn't take that long for toasted cheese sandwiches. I think they forgot about us. We could have been still waiting if I didn't go up to them asking for an update. Never again.
