Burntwood Tavern Rocky River

The food was amazing! Really, there are so many options I found myself switching between entrees, brunch items, soups, and salads at least 6 or 7 times. The place itself was gorgeous with rustic wood outlays, ceilings, and floor with brick accent walls, tables and big round booths. Recommend this place!

Walking into the door you could smell the fireplaces, the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, great bar area. We sat in the converted outdoor into indoor patio with a fire burning behind us. I was disappointed we missed happy hour but found out $5 Moscow mules all day on Thursday’s, the dark and stormy version was a fun and tasty twist. The food overall was 4 star but good, satisfying, and enough for leftovers so I can’t really complain. However I totally recommend getting a dessert option, they come in little cups and a perfect amount and at a great price. Overall 5 star experience, service was fast and good, and I believe the owner was walking around asking how customers were doing, seemed like all staff had pride in the service and product. (I will admit I was hesitant with the 3.9 star rating and some reviews but glad I came, and next time I’m traveling through Rocky River I will want to come back)

Snapper special was good, side of white cheddar mac was good. Server needed a little bit more info on menu specifics. Didn’t get a Bloody Mary, but watched as patrons walked past and picked off cheese cubes with their bare hands as they exited the restaurant. Suggest moving the fixings for it to the back corner of the bar instead of right in front of the door.

Sub par service although the server was very nice and smiled a lot, which is important. The food came out wrong.. steak was cooked below rare when it was ordered med rare. I watched all the tables around us get a champagne toast for New year's but we didn't get one. By the time we were leaving we just wanted to get out of there so we did not speak to a manager. We will not be back

This place continually flip-flopped as to whether or not they had bottomless mimosas so we would ask every time we went in to make sure. The last time we went there the woman behind the bar said they were $3/mimosa rather than the standard price or bottomless price. When she delivered the check and it was double what it should have been, she said "yeah. $3 at bomba. Best price in town." I will NEVER be back there again. How incredibly dishonest and rude.
