I hired Burke Services to hook up my new generator and install a new Gentran switch.  Steve Burke, owner and president of the company arrived promptly at the appointed time.  I was very pleased with his attention to detail and going above and beyond to identify and fix a wiring glitch which was negatively affecting the operation of my well pump.  He took the time to make sure all house circuits were the ones I wanted on the new Gentran switch and were working property when switched over to generator power and then back to the main line power.  He was very thorough and even cleaned up the small bits of snipped wires which had fallen to the floor as he was making the new connections.  He also took the time to add gas to my new generator and made sure I knew how to operate it by giving me a demonstration.  I highly recommend Burke Services to anyone who is looking for someone to service your Electric, HVAC, Generator and Solar needs.

I had Burke Services in today to do a small job, removing a 30-year-old stove range hood and installing a brand-new one (which I had already purchased). They came on-time, promptly sized up the job with the wiring and whatnot, and set to work. Took about an hour total. Did so with hardly any mess. They even carted off the old range hood for proper disposal. 

I've had plenty of bad (and I mean *bad*) interactions with other contractors in the Hudson Valley area, so believe me when I say that this experience with Burke was exceptionally fine. I'm very satisfied, and will definitely contact Burke Services for future projects.

Burke Electric & their staff took wonderful care of us.  They wired an entire garage conversion/playroom room, upgraded our panel to 200 amps and added 3 outside flood lights.  Their guys were knowledgeable, courteous and most importantly, showed up on time!  I was very impressed with the meticulous nature in which they wired the entire room.  I'm not an electrician, but the wiring was beautifully neat, organized and passed inspection with flying colors.

I would highly recommend them...

Been using Burke since 2006 when they installed my generator. Have been most happy with the wonderful service that we receive.. Steve is a pleasure to deal with and he is most professional. You won't be disappointed.. Arlene Green
