Alpine Electric

I placed an order on 29/5 for a Alpine Electric Bikes - Electric Explorer Trike - e Tricycle - Samsung. When placing order I payed in full. June 3rd I received a phone call to say there was a delay on receiving my order as they come from China. I was given a £200 refund for the battery and told the bike would be with me by end of August start of September. By the end of August/September no news from Alpine. I sent a email which was ignored. I ring Alpine and was told 11th September a delivery would be arranged. By the 11th September I had heard nothing at this point I lost all faith in Alpine. So sent another email saying I would be going through my credit card to get a refund. The only positive I can put on this review is Is this company did give me a refund hence the 1 star. Shocking customer service no apology. my advice anyone ordering a bike please get everything in writing. As Steve gives you all these promises over the phone and breaks every single 1. The bike was a present for my Dad and was kept waiting for over 3 months. Very poor company please avoid they fob you off on the telephone. They now don't want customers to pay in full when placing orders how strange. I am now being told I should have rang before ordering online. If you do not wish for people to pay in full when ordering take the option away. Never in all the years of ordering online have I had someone cross because I payed in full lol It does sound very weird. If you look at the website it states if you want to discuss finance contact them. If you want friendly advice contact them. I wanted neither I knew bike I wanted I did all the research watched the video. I was happy to wait until end of August/September. Apparently the bike magically appeared on the 11th September. Strange as I was told I would get a phone call by the 11th to arrange a delivery. Hmmm somebody telling porkies and please put on the website where the bike is actually being shipped from I think a lot of potential customers would like to know that. Its a real shame as the youtube video is good but the actual communication and broken promises is very poor. Hopefully they can learn from this review.

Got my independence back . Feel secure on this trike. The service was brilliant. Very Helpful .

I bought a Vista form Alpine electric bikes and have to say it is an amazing bike. I use it to travel to work on and it is so smooth to ride it just glides along. The massive display screen is a real bonus and I can even see it without my glasses, the gear change is smooth and the suspension means I don't feel the bumps in the poor road surface near me. It means that I can get to work i work around 7.5 miles away without having to take a shower once in get there. The five levels of pedal assist are amazing, when you select number 5 woosh, you are really going it's fantastic. I usually have it in pedal assist level 2 as that is plenty of power for me. I charge my bike at work and have never ran out of battery it seems to last for ever. I love the Vista so much I am even going out on it on weekends with my husband too. I found the Vista by coming across a YouTube video and gave Alpine EB a call, they answered all my questions and were extremely friendly. The delivery was great as the bike was delivered in an Alpine EB van the next week and was fully built up not in a box like most other bikes would turn up. The driver got the bike out the van and I was on it straight away as all the gears and brakes were set and the battery was charged. Thanks Alpine great bike and service and would certainly recommend to everyone I speak to.

I am in my fifties and have never ridden a bike before but purchased an electric trike to give me some independence. Have been practising for a couple of weeks and am improving in riding skills and confidence. As a non driver the thought of riding on the roads really scared me but this is neat enough to ride on most pavements. Excellent customer services. Smooth payment and prompt delivery. Many thanks.

My wife and I bought two compact folding electric bikes from Alpine Electric Bikes to use while we are travelling in our motor home. We looked at lots of different brands of bikes but once we had seen the compact we knew we had found the bike for us. I went for a black one and my wife decided on the white. The styling is superb and people often stop us to ask us about them. Now to the best bits, as these bikes are specifically made to use in the motor home they can literally be folded in under 30 seconds and both can stored in the garage at the back of our motorhome with ease. The video on YouTube with one of the guys from Alpine folding them away really sold it to us. The large screen is a godsend and as Alpine stated I didn’t actually need my reading glasses to see the speedo. The buttons are easy to use to control the pedal assist and the battery can be charged either on the bike or taken into the motorhome for charging. We went for the larger battery which is 13ah and the range is exceptional. I would say we have had roughly 65 miles from a full charge over a mixture of different terrain. The battery takes about 4.5hr from flat to charge. I am really impressed with the Alpine compact and have even started to use it when we are not in the motorhome, saves a fortune on fuel to and from work and even takes less time when the traffic is bad on the roads. We had the bikes delivered fully assembled and one of the lads form Alpine delivered them to us 8 days after we ordered. All in all we are very pleased with the bikes and the service from Alpine and have already recommended to other people. Good job guys. Many thanks Jools

Bought the horizon mountain bike to commute a 12 mile round trip to work which includes one very steep hill. Bike handles great and tackles the hill with ease.

Loving it now that I can get out on a bike again! The service and customer care I received from Steve and the team at Alpine was exemplary.
