Burgers and Shakes

Tasty burgers and shakes! We're not from the area but had to go just to try them. We loved our burgers, super well made. The buns were fresh and the meat was great too. Excellent. The shakes as well were super good. Loved the selection to choose from. Definitely will return

Tasty local burger and shake shop in the Barhaven neighborhood. The food is fresh and made to order fairly quickly, four burgers with sides and shakes was ready in under 15 minutes. There are many different shake flavours to select, we particularly enjoyed the pina colada. Burgers are thick patty and cooked juicy, I would prefer a touch more seasoning but overall really enjoyed it.

I personally really appreciate customer service that goes above and beyond. It's the small things. I also know that its not easy to really take care of customers. It takes work and one has to be intentional about it. This establishment is an example of exceptional customer service. I visited this Burgers and Shakes location on a weekend as a place work over the lunch hour. It was busy, yet the owner took the time to ask me if I would like the wifi password for my laptop and devices. He also came over an closed the blinds for customers when the sun became intense. What I also appreciated, was the fact that all the staff were friendly and also did well to treat customers well and thank customers on their way out. If you appreciate exceptional customer service, good burgers and shakes, you will love this place. 10 stars!

So I’ve only been in here twice, but let me just tell you how amazing this place is! The food is absolutely delicious and it hits the spot for sure! Customer Service is 100/10! The first time coming in was when we had a 8 day power outage in Ottawa, I was talking to the guy about how I have 4 kids and keeping them entertained during the outage had been a task, he sent me on my way with 4 scoops of ice cream at no charge! Tonight I went in for a late night shake, and they had no coffee for the mocha, so he asked the barista to run across the way to the coffee shop! Absolutely amazing and friendly staff, highly recommend to everyone! Kid-friendliness: The guy behind the counter, is so friendly and he loves kids! Definitely a kid friendly environment!

Used to be so great with excellent service, I don't know what issues they're facing now but the quality has taken a huge plummet. I was a monthly regular, but for the last 6 months, I've been getting consistently terrible orders. Today I ordered a burger with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, jalapenos, mustard, and chipotle sauce..... the topping I got was just some soggy lettuce. How do you mess up an order that terribly? I basically ended up remaking myself a whole burger at home, and I'd expect better from a place charging $15 for a burger. If you're reading this review, please save your money and go elsewhere! Maybe a place that actually gives you what you paid for

Ordered on uber eats tonight. Burgers were as dry as leather and disgusting. Spent $8 for the smallest order of onion rings. I've ordered from here before and it was much better and the same order of onion rings was much larger. What happened? I feel ripped off

I have a love hate relationship with this place. Their food and shakes are really good and spicy fries are awesome. My issue is that probably 8/10 orders I make with them through skipthedishes or ubereats, they either don't read the special instructions OR they completely forget to send things. Once or twice is whatever but it happens so often.

One time place with the prices and no service. Take your bag and have a seat or leave. No service and prices for that are outrageous. Taste is good for burgers but shake is normal. Nothing special. Choose for yourself.

First time I came in in 2021 and it was exceptional but today was not close. We ordered 6 oz burgers each which came up to $18+tax but I was not satiated. The buns are quite large in proportion to the the patty which overpowers everything else. The patty was flavourful but as a burger it just felt like it was missing something. Although I ordered only 4 toppings, the server forgot 2 so I had to add those later. Service in general did not feel too welcoming, especially given that the restaurant was empty. The advertising is a bit deceptive. The picture shows all the burgers have cheese but that is in fact an extra topping that you must pay for. I will say however that the chipotle garlic sauce is very tasty. Overall I’d rank it a 3.5/5. Probably won’t be back.

The food was very fresh and really delicious. We had the poutine, crispy chicken burger, and haddock fish burger, cookies and cream ice ream and mocha shake. The poutine was a classic and the crispy chicken was very crispy. I loved it. The fish was also really good. But the ice cream and shake was definitely the best part. Very rich and creamy ice cream. The mocha shake will blow your mind.
