Atmosphere is dirty, would be an understatement. The backside door area of the BK is very disturbing, yes DISTURBING. There's garbage and grease and a very nasty BBQ sitting outback for some reason. The couple times I went there for food they were always out of more than one or two things. The times it was just for coffee, it'd be old coffee sitting in a community hall style decanter, and they overcharge for a cup they only full 2/3 ful and I have to complain and ask them to fill it, EVERY SINGLE TIME The service at the till, the ladies are nice and do as well as they can given the resources they lack. That's the only good thing i can say about it, is the people working the till are very nice and polite Taste and quality wise it's 2 stars at best on its best day. Much like the esso its located I'm, this burger King should lose its franchise name as its an embarrassment to the brand and to the people it attempts to serve
Today was the last time I went to this location, I ordered a Bacon Crispy Chicken Burger to go, the burger smelled like raw meat and looked bad. The Chicken patty looked like it has been out for days and bacon looked uncooked, when I went back to point this out the staff didn't care at all. This is for some people who work in these fast food restaurants - you are not doing any favors by taking orders and handing out the order, the customer paid for the food. If you hate your job so much maybe consider something else, yes it is hard and it is hard for all of us, you are not entitled to anything you don't work for or deserve. So please do the job right by making sure the food is prepared and delivered to a customer for what they paid you for. Burger King needs to do better in service and food at this location.
I just know these employees don’t wash their hands prior to preparing food or clean their equipment. This place is absolutely disgusting. Do better.
It's BK - the food was deliciously horrible for me. But the building was a freakin' mess. Not solely their fault, as it is a shared building in a rest stop. But the bathrooms were disgusting - grossly dirty, urinals don't flush, no soap, no paper, litter everywhere. Beverage station was a mess - spills everywhere, no lids, no napkins, half of the products unavailable. Dining area was gross, too. Scares me to think about the actual kitchen... BK corporate should definitely check into this one, yikes.
Allover this burger king deserves a zero star. Not tidy, bad smell in the washroom with very bad conditions. Talking about ordering their machines were not working. For food to enjoy I suggest not to be considered anyway. But if one has no choice and wants to cope with hunger then it would be a consideration. But will get just those things which staff suggest. Their menu is a big lie.
Update: local manager gave free items for the trouble, thank you. / Original: BK mobile app scams your money when ice cream machine is broken and can't fulfill shakes paid. CSR refuse to reverse charge. Lesson learned, don't use app or be a frequent customer? Update: went on their FB ad to vent, FB rep fixed it... So you have to go out of your way for their screw ups
Edit , this was a 5* review when it first opened.. Now the place drive throu is never open during business hours , food in drive throu is just thrown in bags and napkins balled up.outside garbage cans are always full and garbage laying around everywhere.Tables and chairs always dirty , the franchise needs to come have a look and health board!!! Unbelievable!!
The jalapeno bites are the best. The staff are friendly and the quality and taste of food is excellent. Definitely the best pit stop to grab a bite on your way to Vancouver.Food: 5/5
Drive through is never open during business hours . One can only assume the franchise owner does not need the additional business. Neither is the manager concerned about offering customer service . Many other fast food restaurants in Merritt that appreciate customers . DQ Mary's Chicken . A&W drive through always open and staff very nice . Most unfortunate the Burger King Management not concerned with the many comments .
We are enjoyed authentic flame grilled whopper. The staffs are superb friendly and explained all in details. We must go back while we return to vancouver.Food: 5/5
