Bureau en Gros Gatineau

I bought a computer in August for my daughter and had bought the extra 2 year damage coverage. The power jack busted and became unusable and they honoured the contract with no fuss. The store sent the computer away and in 10 days I found out that it wasn't repairable and I was entitled to a payout. I find most stores finds a way to weasel out of paying but Bureau en Gros, in Gatineau, Quebec came through. The Staples staff on the phone and in the store was very patient with me wrt my many questions, mostly to do with buying a new replacement computer and the 0% financing over 12 months for the price difference. I kick myself for not opting to get a copy of the Microsoft Office and the Antivirus I had bought for the broken computer before they scrapped it - that would have saved me a couple of hundred dollars. For that reason & having to rebuy new insurance coverage my replacement computer still cost a bit more than I thought it would. It was still a lot less than having to buy it from scratch and I could have opted for a cheaper replacement computer. I thought the payout was very fair. I have bought 7 laptops from this store and their bilingual service is why I keep coming back. Merçi

Went into the store to print and scan a document. Scanner was broken so paid a premium to have the document scanned by the service staff and copied to our hard drive. Upon arriving home (a 20 minute drive), discovered the clerk copied someone else's confidential file onto our external hard drive . When we phoned to inform them of their mistake and ask that she email the correct document to us we were told they were not allowed to and their policy was to immediately delete scan files. I wonder who will get our scan? There were very few customers in the store - no excuse for such sloppy service - would never go back!

Very bad customer service. No staff and negative attitude from the cashier. They called staff several time in the tech department and the staff were just hanging in the back of the store avoiding customers.

Came in here to do some printing - about 6 self-serve options so very quick in and out - I wandered around the store because it was so quick with the printing!!
