Story

-Reviving the traditional supper club atmosphere-
Supper clubs are a big tradition in Wisconsin and the Buck-A-Neer Supper Club is right at the top of the list! Enjoy traditional supper club food and drinks in our cozy farmhouse setting that compliments the remnants of the buildings past. In the early 1900s this building was a blacksmith shop that would eventually become the Paris Avenue Nite Club in the 1940s. Sometime around 1973 it officially became the Buck-A-Neer Supper Club. It is our goal to carry the Wisconsin supper club tradition to future generations to come!

Good service...nice price for a seafood buffet, but the food didn't blow me away. It was good, not great. Enjoyed the beer battered haddock the most. Had a Virgin Mary and I'm afraid I wasn't fond of the different smokey flavor. I want to taste the tomato! Happy to see liver paste and ham salad on the salad bar. They did accommodate us when we asked to be near the buffet as we were with someone who walks with a cane.

Great food, great service. Very reasonable prices for the variety of food. The Bloody Mary was fancy! Picked cauliflower was very tasty!

Service was good, but unfortunately the food was ridiculously bad for the price. I only wish I would have taken photos of our meals to get the point across to everyone, but I did not want to embarrass our host for the evening as he was forking out big bucks for smelly chicken and greasy fish. We couldn't even fill up on bread because the bread basket had a hair ball in it. I could go on and on, but the whole thing was crazy! Unless the regular cook was out (and the janitor stepped in for the night just for us) I do not get the appeal.

Bartender was very knowledgeable about many different drinks and very good at what he does. Food was excellent and so was the service.
