Horrible! Had to ask to see menus. We waited 45 minutes and still didn't get our food. The waitress was over once to slam down the condiments and never came back. We said hello to her and she didn't even bother to reply or give us any sort of greeting. The bartender was very apologetic when we were leaving. When we got home and ate the food we requested to have boxed up, it was actually pretty good. Too bad the service has left us with such a poor taste in our mouths to enjoy the meals.

Tonight I gave Pike Lake Resort a second chance since my first experience there was poor. The bartender made a great drink, but his people skills were non existent, just like the first visit. Our waitress seemed annoyed when she brought something back to the table for us and was asked by another member of our family for something else. The waitress could have asked us all at the same time if we needed anything before she left the table the first time if she was burdened by doing her job. Then, my burger was raw in the middle, so they made me a new burger and I received it after everyone else was finished eating. She ran to get me mayonnaise for my burger originally, and didn't bring any with the second burger. I didn't want to ask for anything else due to the reactions we got earlier. She brought the bill, and we were charged for food we did not receive. I have to say, this was THE worst service I have ever had in my 46 years.

I dont really have much to say thats positive about this place. They are under new ownership and I was delighted. Our last experience with the previous owners and their food was miserable. So I was excited to try it again. That night in February, I was there with a party of 15. Friday night fish fry. Hmm were to start? Positives. Hmm. Im thinking. While I think, here are the points I wanna make that reflects the score I gave. 1: Coleslaw. What is this? Oh yuck. It smelled rancid and tasted worse. a sickeningly sweet taste in water. I honestly think they used artificial sweeteners in it. It was that bad. 2: Fish. I got the Deep fried. Tasted like the well used deck of the fishing boat it was caught on. Breading was soggy. However I was the only one that said it tasted fishy. The person in my party to my right got the broiled. They said it tasted great, but the size if the portions was a joke. in total, it was about the size of 2 snicker bars. No joke. 3: Potato. I got the fries. safe bet. A few at the table got the baked. Cold. Colder than room temperature. Really people? 4: Tartar. Oh Uck! I've had bad tarter before. How can you mess that up? It actually tasted rancid. 5: And I wish I could remember what it was, but it was fish in a skillet bowl like at a Denny's. The sauce was reported to us to be a bit curdled and runny. All in all, I would NOT recommend this place. I will give it another chance in the future but I am not sure If I want to waste anothe $18 or so on it.

Ate here a few times since the new owners & the food is always great!! Pizza, hot ham & cheese, burger, they have a nice selection on be menu & all yummy!! Very comfy gambling chairs & an amazing view of the lake :)
