Buccaneers

Very mediocre but passable pub food, which would be fine with the great harbour view ... but as others have posted: the service is bad to the point of being ridiculous. The restaurant was a third full on a Wednesday, so that was no reason. Dishes don't get cleared for 20 mins, a glass of water takes 15, follow on drinks orders? Forget it. Meals came in about 35 mins, but count on another 30 after your meal finishes before you get the bill. Awful. You've been warned. We came for the view...and thankfully it was there to pass the time.

Was in for dinner last night for burgers with my family. Waitress seemed a bit brash in the beginning but warmed up through the course of our meal. The burgers weren't all that great, my husband and I both had the pile diver and my patty was too blackened for my liking and my husband's was a little too underdone ( I guess we should have swapped lol). The kids burger and fries was a good portion and my two children were full off of the kids menu (which is great cause they both usually have to order from the full menu cause kid's portions are usually too small).

DO NOT EAT HERE! We were told it would take 45 min to get food. It took over an hour & 20 minutes to get the worst fish & chips any of us had ever had. The people next to us had been waiting over 2 hours, two of the people in the group were in their eighties, when they said they couldn't wait any longer they were told they would have to pay for the food even if they left. Their waitress was loud & argumentative. It was embarrassing for all. We just moved to Sechelt and have eaten at several restaurants here but we will never eat there or take our out of town guests there again.

The fish and chips were amazing, great waterfront view. Good selection of wines.
