Went to Bruno for my friends’ birthday and we all had the best experience thanks to the amazing team at Bruno.  I had to give a huge shout out to the restaurant managers - Rita and Ruby, who went above and beyond and made the night unforgettable   Probably the best dine out experience we had in Vancouver!! Food was absolutely amazing and presentation was impeccable. The chefs and kitchen staff put so much heart into it and we really enjoyed every bite! The scroll loaf was to die for!!  Our server, Hugh, was super attentive and professional. Leo who stopped and took photos for us was really kind as well! Everyone in the restaurant was delightful.  10/10 We are definitely coming back!

We were staying at the Versante hotel and had breakfast and lunch at Bruno. We regretted that we did not have dinner there as well. The food was so AMAZING. It is so good that we would take a trip from Seattle to Richmond just to eat there. Everything is so flavorful, creative, fresh and also very filling. We were skeptical at first seeing the “bad” reviews but I would give the experience here 10 stars if I could.  The brunch set is only offered on the weekend. It is $56 per person but each person would have total 7 different dishes. There are many good and healthy options for breakfast as well. The price is very reasonable for the portion. We could not eat everything so we had to take to-go for 2 of the dishes. We are planning to have dinner there soon.

Had a wonderful experience with my group last night at Bruno! We had the set menu and everything tasted amazing especially the pork belly!!! and we all left happy and full. Special thank you to Rita who put everything together for us. The servers were great, very attentive. The food presentation was awesome. Will be coming back again to try out other items on the menu!

We were celebrating a special occasion so it was nice that Richmond has an upscale restaurant to choose from. The atmosphere felt vibrant and bustling. I shared the duck platter with my wife and it was enough to fill us up with the bread appetizer. The duck was really good but didn’t wow me as much as some French restaurants. It needed some sort of vegetable to balance out the meat. I’d definitely get it again though. They have a kids menu which was a big bonus. The service, as mentioned before, was okay but not outstanding. They were professional but not the most attentive with long periods of time in between appearances.  I would come back again if a get together was organized  but I probably wouldn’t actively try to come back again…

We had a fabulous birthday celebration here. Manager Rita was awesome! She provided tons of recommendation to accommodate our preferences and help us plan for the dinner perfectly. Our server Ricardo was top-notch. He was super attentive, enthusiastic and detail-minded. Service, food and atmosphere were phenomenal! All of our guests were impressed. Thanks!

I had a wonderful experience dining here with a large party! We were so well taken care of; the event manager, floor manager, wait staff, and team in the kitchen provided us excellent service and aesthetically plated meals. They were professional, kind, organized, understanding, reassuring, attentive, and successfully carried out each of my requests I had provided ahead of time. The food and drinks were so delicious, each course was presented beautifully, and the decorum provided a great atmosphere. I would definitely dine here again.

Ricardo provided an amazing service. We ordered a bunch of stuff from the menu and he paired the appetizers and main courses for us. The meal started of light and ended with heavy flavoured dishes. Ricardo was with us the whole way and took care of us. One the best dining experience we had in a long while, especially when we eat out everyday. Good service and good food. A lot of different flavours. Would definitely come back!

We came in earlier this year for my wife's birthday dinner. The manager and servers were very attentive, friendly and accommodating.. We went for a variety of dishes and finished with a desert on the house. While the potators were very delicious, I found they were very filling. If you're looking to sample different items, I recommend leaving those for last if you're still feeling hungry and trying all the other protein based dishes upfront.. Salads were lovely as well. Looking forward to coming back.

Amazing experience! Great food and fantastic service! We went there to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. Heard good feed back about this restaurant and wanted to try it out. We were recommended the truffle lavender duck dish and it was really good. All other dishes we ordered were also very tasty! The service was on point and the staff really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Ruby the manager was so great! We will definitely be going back to try out other dishes on the menu!

I was looking forward to trying something different in Richmond and came across Bruno which has nice reviews from google. My dad and I decided to have our lunch today.  The atmosphere was ok and I did love the presentation of the dishes.  Initially, I was excited with possibilities of finding some place that I could visit regularly. Unfortunately, my hope was crushed by poor services.  My main server was busy attending the bar and I was trying to get help from other staffs. There were two staffs who were chit chatting with each other. I tried to get their attention and they did see us but didn’t do anything.  I thought perhaps this is one of those restaurants where servers do not help out their colleagues and decided to wait for my main server. However,  it would have been nice if one of those servers just said “ I will let your server know that you need help” rather than simply ignoring us.  We were paying in cash and didn’t feel comfortable to leave the money unattended roughly $150 for two people for lunch.  So we waited someone to pick up the payment. As we waited one of the servers yelled out “they’re waiting for change” in condescending tone. At that moment, I thought about asking for the change but decided not to since my main server was very nice.  I do hope management train the servers to be more professional and share workload with others when there is unbalance distribution of workload.
