I have been going to this pharmacy for a few years now, I get my methadone in the back of the building and the staff there are great and a good sense of humor. But my only problem is that whenever I go shopping in the main store, somebody security etc are literally standing there watching my every move like I am going to rob the store. I understand that the area is sketchy but why would I steal something when the store has all my information about me, is it because I take methadone I better be watched? I'm not looking to make the employees mean for doing this but loosen up a bit. Other than that the pharmacist and the rest of the gang there are Great people!!
PLEASE CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE OF MEDICATION YOU PURCHASE HERE. Staff very helpful though. I shouldn't have to check the expiration date of medicines in a pharmacy of such repute. Yet on two separate occasions, a bottle of vitamins was due for expiry in the current month when course duration was for two months and a bottle of Tylenol expired the month before on date of purchase. On the first instance, the staff were very helpful and were quick to exchange the product thankfully. I will be returning the Tylenol tomorrow.
Me & my husband moved to Montreal three Years ago,& although we speak only English , But do try to speak French tho lol & we go to the back store for methodone I find they treat us amazing the the back store but if me n my husband go to the front to shop , Unfortunately cuz so many other people steal & cuz we are on methodone they “ automatically “ think we will steal & follow us around as If we can not be trusted even tho we have been going their well over ONE YEAR now! You would think they know ya by now & that me n my husband have NEVER stolen their! I do hope they ease up one day. But I do know often people ruin it for others , But like I said the methodone programs their is amazing !!! We will never switch!
I went to the Guy Lachance Pharmacist Affiliated Owner located at 2005, Rue Ste-Catherine Est Montréal, Québec H2K 2H6 at 11:45am, May 9, 2016. A man in his mid 40s working on the point-of-sale terminal spoke to me in French. Unfortunately, I do not speak the language. When I told him that I do not speak French, his demeanor changed to one that I will characterize as extremely rude. After making payment, when I was about to exit the store, the man made an extremely condescending and disrespectful statement in ENGLISH clearly he had intended I comprehend his snide comment. I could not believe what I heard. Immediately I returned to the counter and requested I talk to his supervisor so that I can lodge a complaint for his disrespectful attitude; I was further shocked to hear him claim HE WAS THE MANAGER. Being subjected to his discrimination, arrogance and hostile attitude has bothered me so much that I am submitting this review so that others can see how the management here treats their patrons. I run a business myself and being courteous to your valued customers is foremost for any business. Inability to speak French is no grounds to behave with such hostility no matter what your political or personal opinions are. Patience and a sincere desire to help customers can go a long way in establishing goodwill. The manager at this location, needs to be provided with adequate training in customer service/relations so that in future he does not indulge in unprofessional and unfriendly behavior such as the kind I experienced. Due to the gravity of this incident, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau or the equivalent body in QC because sadly the management at this location is neither professional nor conscientious. Needless to say, I will never return to this store again. Dr. Ali Rizvi ___ Update: I received the following message on facebook from the owner of the pharmacy. He was very keen on making things right. I really appreciate the time he took to address this complaint. Guy Lachance, I accept your appology: "Dear Dr. Ali Rizvi, Thank you for bringing this deplorable situation to our attention. I am personally disappointed to hear about your most recent interaction with our cashier/self-proclaimed manager and I am truly distraught that you were not given the opportunity to complain directly to management onsite. As you stated, it was not only the language barrier pretext that was upsetting but his demeanor was rude and comments were offensive. We value your comments and they were shared with the manager and rest assured that our employee will be held accountable for his unprofessional attitude towards you and for misrepresenting himself as a manager. As a pharmacy service provider in a diverse multi-culturally populated city such as Montreal, we take pride in extending a warm welcome to all our local and international clients from all walks of life and most certainly try to have bilingual staff available at all times. Finally, please accept my apology on behalf of our store and I sincerely hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you again and serve you in one of our pharmacies. Best regards, Guy Lachance, pharmacist owner"
Decent prices and friendly staff, small pharmacy but well organized for most needs.
I don't know what Dr Ali Rizvi is on about. Every time I go there I am served politely. I only speak english and every employee speaks enough english to converse with me and they are happy to serve me. Dr. Ali rizvi must have not gone to the same Brunet as I have.
Good service but I would expect a pharmacy to be open on Labour Day since people still NEED THEIR MEDICATION. Very disappointed for that one.
Ask the young blond male pharmacist on how use a prescription. Told me the receipt in the bag. Rude!!
The delivery guy is the sweetest men ever
