What a pleasant environment. Nested in Duncan this restaurant operates on a nice city lot in a older style house. Eat indoor or outdoor. We enjoyed brunch on the patio and sampled flights. The food was excellent and locally sourced. Flights were a decent size and you are able to share between two people. Moderate pricing. I would recommend booking reservations.
Wow what an awesome brunch spot. Situated on a residential street it looks like someone’s home. Went on. Busy Sunday morning and waited for about 15 minutes. Sat outside on the patio. The server gave us blankets right away in case we needed them. Mimosa flight - nice surprise. Haven’t had this before. Banana bread French Toast - amazing! All the meals at the table were excellent and filling. A true brunch experience. Highly recommended!
Excellent staff and customer service, incredible food. The Irish coffee is good My one critique is actually about my favourite dish. The “duck & cover” had barely any duck on it this time around, it was mostly just duck skin. Tasted great but lacked substance, still felt hungry after. Photos attached were from our first visit when there was a good amount of duck on the plate Keep doing what you’re doing Brunch On 3rd, just give a little more food Also, maybe add a waitlist I saw several big groups turn around while I was waiting outside for 20 minutes in the cold
The Café is lovely and the garden beautiful. It's definitely a wonderful place. The soup was good. The salad rather dry, too big lettuce pieces. The salmon bread was nevertheless very tasty. The juices and drinks are cool and so pretty, a good time.
Excellent brunch/lunch restaurant. Generous portions well executed. Mimosa and Caesar samplers feature daily flavours; fun and worth considering! Highly recommend if you’re in Duncan area.
This is hands down, the best of the best! Absolute go to for the best Brunch on the westcoast! I hope they NEVER change their hash browns, with the sweet potatoes in there… They were to die for! The service was amazing! The atmosphere was fantastic. Not only will be be repeat customers, but will also bring our family and friends for Brunch. The mimosas looked delicious! Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly with the kids menu equally as amazing! My 4 year old gave his “I want to go home” breakfast two thumbs up!
The hollandaise...chefs kiss fast friendly service, lined up out the door and understandably why. The mimosa and ceasar flights looked amazing!! Carrot cake was to die for. Pricing was great! You get your money's worth. 10/10, I'll be back.
A lovely little spot for brunch in Duncan. I had the Caesar flights-amazing! That was followed by coffee and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Quite simply the best eggs Benedict I have EVER had. Treat yourself and go!
This restaurant can highly recommended by friends and family. It’s a breakaway from another popular breakfast place in town. The reviews on the food were raving. I was a little skeptical …. Until I are here. The best eggs benny I have ever had. Actually. Several eggs benny to choose from on the menu and they are all equally amazing. The Avacado toast is delicious. Reading the reviews I wasn’t sure if the portions would be sufficient. Portions are more than sufficient. The eggs benny and the avacado toast was even a little to much but my eyes were once again bigger than my stomach. Food presentation is perfection. Prices are more than reasonable. Props for an amazing outdoor dining area too! Downsides/ Recommendations: Coffee not good. Not horrible but not good. Bitter. I know coffee is a personal preference thing but a smoother medium blend roast would do the trick. And please add lattes, cappuccino and espresso. Need to get a machine. A good cup of coffee is as important at breakfast as the meal itself. The big flatscreen tv in the corner of the dining room is a huge detractor from the ambiance which otherwise is quite nice. We felt our neck were bent and our gaze constantly drawn to the tv above our heads and that other diners were constant looking at our table because of the tv. Ditch the TV. Not a sports bar : We showed up at 10:45 walked right in and got a table. Within minutes there was a line outside the door. Pro tip: No reservations taken in advance. Show up earlier.
A residential home turned brunch restaurant. Everything from the wonderful food to the cozy atmosphere to the friendly service make this place a definite stop if you're ever in this part of town. Locally sourced fresh ingredients. Eccentric daily specials for the more adventurous foodies. 5 stars. A great little place.Food: 5/5
