Bruegger's Bagels

I came here with my wife on Sunday afternoon. We got a bagel to share and half a dozen to go with a package of cream cheese. The service was polite. Their bagels or good but not the best I have had in the Hartford area.

I liked the bagels here. They always taste fresh and Brueggers is an established chain with a solid customer base. Understood. I give 3 stars for that. However, the service here is a little below average. Came to the shop undecided what I wanted and had to face a not so welcoming tone. The unacceptable thing is when I refused to not have sausage on my egg sandwich, it was just removed from the eggs and stored back with other sausage patties. I'd have been happier if the eggs were replaced rather than leaving them right there. Despite the experiences, good tasting food wins at the end of the day.

Great place for a quick breakfast or a light lunch. Located right on the corner of a busy intersection, if you get a seat outside you can literally watch the world go by as you eat. Service is generally friendly, and quick.

Great service. Couldn't ask for more. Much better than the Dunkin up the street
