Tisane Euro-Asian Cafe

Tisane is a fine place with good food, but their Byzantine rules for when you can sit and where completely ruins the experience. It is trying to be a cafe, a restaurant, and a bar. This means that coffee drinkers get marginalized seating as early as two hours before happy hour. They also institute a cover charge on one night only - the night most popular with gay men. Perhaps it is just me but I feel like all customers should be treated equally and fairly no matter what they order or what their sexual orientation is.

My boyfriend and I met here for drinks a year ago for our first date. We had such a good experience that we decided to come back for our 1 year anniversary. My boyfriend called ahead to let them know about our special occasion, and although I don't believe they usually take reservations, they sat us at the same booth we had last year (yes, we are corny) and had a small vase of yellow roses on the table. Our server Victor was very friendly and had good recommendations, and the manager dropped off our entrees and checked in. We were treated so well and I knew I had to leave a great review right away.

Very nice atmosphere. Not a place to go to for a date but with friends to socialize yes. The food was ok. I had a Cobb salad it tasted different. The service was good, although I felt like my waiter was paying more attention to my date than me. I saying I just noticed the lack of eye contact with compared to the guy I was with. Anyways good place to network and socialize.

I stopped in for the first time for a to-go cup of tea. Tea tasted good and table for honey and add-ins to your drinks was organized and clean. Customer service was ok. Overall could have better management, vibe was off. Idea of place is cool and offers different food options. Entrance door to place could be more pronounced when trying to enter.

I love this place. Staff had a good sense of humor, very polite and personable. The food is fantastic, and the prices too. The coffee and espresso they serve is wonderful. They put a lot of time into their espresso drinks, and it shows. Cocktails are out-of-this-world. Amazingly crafted, every time!
