Welcoming, polite and nice staff. I've witnessed casual racism towards the staff there, even then they stay polite and welcoming. The breakfast food is basic but cheap, warm and filling. You want something made different? Just ask with a smile, explain what you want and they will do their best to accomodate you. They welcome comments and I feel that they really want to improve to please their customers, they just haven't exactly figured out how to get there yet. The donuts are north american classics, good and fresh daily, so it's better to go in the morning.
Stumbled on this place looking for breakfast at 8am. I’m Indian and my bf is not and we always have to choose between either Indian or Canadian breakfast. Luckily here we didn’t have to, as I got a traditional home made parantha and my bf got a Canadian breakfast slam. Along with two donuts, our total came out to $20 and some change. Safe to say they are cheap but the food is also very homely and will leave you satisfied. Definitely a must try. This is our new favourite and I’ll be visiting as often as I can. I’d rather support local business such as these vs bigger chains any day.
Best place for Breakfast and Lunch options. I ordered loaded breakfast with scrambled eggs and Oreo shake it was so yummy. Also, donuts were mouthwatering and fresh. Customer service was also best and polite with a smiling face. Also I have visited many restaurants but cleanliness in this place was much better than other place. Always recommend you to go there. Will visit again.
Read about them in the recent BlogTO article and my husband and I decided to try their Indian menu. The good: -Pakoras were fresh, crispy, perfectly seasoned and delicious -Veg Thali had good variety, and was very filling. Husband and I shared the above two items. -We saw channa baturas and puri's leaving the kitchen that looked big, fresh and mouthwatering and we definitely want to try them out next time. The bad: -We ordered the mango lassi, as it is a classic and one of my favourites at any Indian restaurant. Something tasted really "off" about the lassi. It wasn't the recipe, or salt, etc. but something genuinely tasted like it had gone bad - like rotten. When we informed the staff, their response was "this is just how we make it" and still charged us full amount for this item, even though we barely took 3 sips. They did comp us a donut which we didn't really want. I am 35 weeks pregnant so did not want to take a chance with any potentially spoiled food, so I would say that experience left a bad taste and makes me hesitant to go back or recommend to friends/family. We will try them one more time just ourselves before making a recommendation.
Great spot for classic donuts. We had an apple fritter, a cinnamon bun and a slice of banana bread. They also serve Indian food. We'll try that next time.Food: 5/5
Wow, I paid $17 for a dozen donuts! It was under $10 not long ago. He originally put in $8.99 in the register, then deleted it, took out the debit machine and charged me $17. I don't have a voice right now due to a cold, so I couldn't speak with the person. Is this truly the price now? Probably won't be back.
Wanted to like it but 40 min wait for take out combined with biryani and tikka masala that was horrible made this a don't go back or recommend. Way too much oil and overall terrible quality and ended up composting the food. Avoid and go down the street to Feast of Dilli where the food is actually good! I was told a 20 minute wait btw arriving at 12:45 and I left with my order at 1:25 so you do the math. Had the food been good I would not have written a negative review.
Working around the corner and needed to take a break. Stopped here for a lunch. Great spot for coffee or tea. The prices are reasonable and the food taste great. They also serve bacon and eggs.

I had a fantastic experience stopping by on our way to a concert, the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and I bought a marble donut for $1.40 and it was both fresh and tasty. My girlfriend used the bathroom and said it was so clean! Coming from the Owen Sound area, I would definitely stop by again on my way through.
