We had a wonderful dinner experience at Lume. It was our first time there so we wanted to try a few different items - we weren’t disappointedexcept the Moroccan salad was on the bland side even with dressing added because the couscous was flavourless and there was quite a bit of it underneath the greens. I’d return for sure at some point and try new dishes. It’s a cozy and cute place and worth checking out.
Loved Lume so much. Got greeted by such friendly hosts. Our server was knowledgable and really helped guide us to some tasty options as seen below. Great selection of signature cocktails as well as a couple mocktails! The manager also came by to see how everything was going, which I love ; Definitely will be returning.
I went to Lume for the first time on Valentine’s Day. The vibe is definitely more like a club than a restaurant with loud music and purple lighting, but otherwise it was nice. The service was pretty good with nice staff and pretty fast service. Despite that we had called ahead twice and confirmed we could order from the regular menu, we were told when we arrived that they were only serving a limited menu or the Valentine’s Day preset menu. Because I’m vegetarian and they were not serving anything vegetarian on their regular menu, we were forced to go with the preset menu. Unfortunately, we had to send cutlery back twice because it was dirty. Once we had clean cutlery, the first courses salad and pasta were really good. I was pretty disappointed with the main vegetarian course, though. It was just flavourless and bland, and definitely not worth the expensive price tag. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn’t eat meat. The servers were really nice, but the restaurant had a mandatory gratuity of 20% tip due to the preset menu, which seemed a bit steep on a meal that we weren’t originally interested in, plus the mandatory gratuity wasn’t clearly communicated in advance. Overall, just not somewhere I’d recommend as a vegetarian.
Finally! A beautifully designed, expertly hosted and incredibly delicious brunch restaurant in the neighborhood. Looking for scrambled eggs and toast, not here. Short rib Benny, Bougie Mimosas and R&B ambience music played at the right volume to facilitate conversations with good friends. I will definitely come back for dinner. Lume staff… don’t change a thing!! Went back for dinner. Never disappointed!
Second time in a month because it’s that good…. Highly recommend the Margarita and oysters at this place absolutely delicious match made in heaven! Incredibly delicious food and top notch customer service, very much impressed with Lume. Also try the roasted half chicken and the harvest bowl I mean probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The manager was very sweet as well
I was very surprised at the food here. The service was great and the interior is a typical lounge with spacious areas and high ceilings with a little bit of an upscale feel. Now, the food here was exceptional. Felt like a Montreal place where all food is better. The omelette was incredible with a mix of bacon, garlic bread and mushroom sautéed potatoes. The short rib Benedict’s were also exceptional tasty. Wasn’t expecting this caliber of food. I will be back.
This restaurant is a new gem in the community. Food was creative, interesting and delicious! The drinks were very well done. I had an extra dirty gin martini and the balance was done well. The decor is stunning! Each table has a purse holder. The bar lighting is truly the focal point. Music was a vibe. Felt like a downtown vibe but not being in downtown. Once summer hits, the patio will be a fun spot. This restaurant supports a community feel with good vibes and chill times. Check it out!
I usually never write reviews but this place deserved one. I had the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life here. So much so that I had to go back again a second time just for the same pasta. It’s called the Pappardelle and I recommend everyone to get it. 10/10
I was super impressed by this restaurant! The interior is beautiful and upscale, to start. Second, their food is amazing. I tried to truffle ravioli, the cubano and truffle fries, all of which I would highly recommend. Third, our waitress was so nice and made some amazing custom cocktails. She loves experimenting at the bar and is fantastic at it. I wish I remembered her name so I could give her the shout out she deserves. Needless to say, if you are looking for some good cocktails and food in Toronto, definitely check out Lume!
Excellent service and yummy food. The Cubano is absolutely delicious and good value, and so is the burrata. Looking forward to trying all the items on the menu Food: 5/5
