Very tasty cupcakes and snacks. My daughter has a tree nut allergy and they had desserts to accommodate really good selection. Between serving they washed there hands to avoid contamination. Place is kept very tidy and staff is pleasant. The hot chocolate was excellent. The icing was not too sweet and it lets the flavours come out better and doesn’t drown everything out with auger icing like some places. Perfectly portion icing to cupcake.
Always the best cupcakes in town. Finally tried the sandwich , and it was perfection! The right amount of beef roast, veggies and sauces. Had the made in house garlic sauce, it was delicious and not too spicy.The white bun was the best bun i had in a long time lol I might be a little picky. Can't wait to go again.
My husband discovered this place to my dismay as I may be addicted now haha!! Best donuts I have had in the Calgary/Okotoks area!! The cupcakes are amazing and addictive and they have a ton of gluten free options which my friend said was also delicious. Soup and sandwiches are also great! Highly recommend!!
Tried their taco meat in a cheese bun with a side of salsa. OMG Fantastic. Calls for seconds. Will definitely be back for more. Their long johns took me back to my high school days. Just needed whip cream.
Great service, best cheese buns out there. Make an effort to try Brown Sugar Bakeshop the next time you need a little treat. We have ordered amazing cakes and cupcakes from here. The staff is friendly and respectful. Also extremely aware of Gluten allergies and sensitivities. Well worth spending your money.
I often go there for a brownie or cupcake and have to day they are amazing. They cater to gluten free, dairy free, and egg free which is amazing. Definitely try the pumpkin spice cupcakes.... incredible.
Updating as I've been many times now with it being walking distance. Service is always excellent, the sandwhiches, soups, bread, baked goods and cakes we've tried most things now are consistently excellent. My girlfriend loves the soups they do which isn't something we'd normally rave about but they are great. One criticism is that coffee is a little weaker than some other places in town. Original review: Great café; coffee is very nice, I also had a beef sandwich which was great. All fresh ingredients and made to order. But the star was the brownie with nuts.. wow, that may be the best brownie I have ever had! Also thank you for respecting people's personal choices during these strange times.
This is a lovely little bake shop with some wonderful treats. As well as the most hardworking plesant polite young man was a nice surprise this past saturday. This bake shop not only has delicious treats but an employee a young man who wears eye glasses that would bring a smile to anyone. This Bake shop should be proud to have such a treasure. Whenever I’m in Okotoks I stop in here for tea or coffee and to pick up cupcakes or cookies for my kids. The bulletproof coffee with honey and cinnamon is my favourite! I love the selection of baked goods. There is always something new to try.
Epic sandwich, great service, my wife had the cupcake and commented that it was better then her current favorite crave cupcakes. If I lived in Okotoks I would be here all the time, the drive was well worth it :
