The place is cozy and very good for a breakfast or a coffee during the day. Regarding the coffee, they use high quality grains and the beverages are really great. I had a Mocha and a Cappuccino. Both were amazing. The place was very clean and the overall customer care is great. The "everything croissant" is very good and it was my favorite. I have tried the ham and cheese croissant too and it is also very good! I am not a big fan of sweet, but I tried a cupcake and a chocolate tart. The last one is definitely a great option, even if you are like me and do not want something exaggerated sweet. The price is fair for the experience. Something about 6 dollars for each large beverage.
This place was absolutely adorable. Lots of variety for beverages and baked goods. Abundance of indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the baked goods could use work pumpkin spice muffin and macaroons but they were still absolutely delicious. Cupcakes and scones were perfection. Fair price and wonderful experience overall.
When my wife first told me she was going to order a "fancy" cake for our sons 12th birthday I didn't really know what to expect. Our son is obsessed with Nike & Jordan shoes and she said she wanted to get a shoe cake. I figured it would just be your basic slab cake with a picture of a shoe drawn in icing or printed with edible ink.... you know the kind of thing you'd get at a grocery store bakery. I had no idea that it was going to be an actual shoe. I was totally blown away by what the magicians ad 94 Take the Cake Bakery pulled off. Super impressed with the quality of work here. Obviously it looks amazing but it tasted really good too. They managed to build the cake without having to pack it full of sticks and boards to hold it all together like you see on all those TV cake decorating shows. And don't let the photos fool you... if this were a real shoe it would be like a size 20! So if you're in the market for a custom cake for a special occasion I'd definitely recommend 94 Take the Cake Bakery. You can tell they really enjoy the work they do and love a challenge. Keep up the fantastic work guys!
I was with my friends in this unique place today and I am enchanted! The interior design is simply sensational, the cakes are delicious, the service is friendly, the prices are very affordable. It was worth spending a few moments in this unusual place, I highly recommend it!
Best bakery. I often go there for deserts if I’m having guests. Such great choices with gluten and dairy free options. Always delicious and exceptional service BUT when I ordered my husband’s birthday cake-they knocked it out of the park. Such creative bakers with attention to detail. And the cake- absolutely scrumptious. Would recommend this bakery to anyone who is looking for exceptional quality and creativity
What a unique experience eating macaroons and cupcakes in a drawing! I like the staff as well they are friendly and knowledgeable I am very interested in their art cake but unfortunately they don't have any today. I will br recommending this cafe and hope to come back soon!
First impressions of this place is awesome! The servers and people are pretty good. The desserts were appetizing and we tried a few like the Strawberry and Vanilla Macaron, and the Chai Carrot Muffin, and Quiche was very good as well. The cafe has a good vibe and the artwork from the front door to all the way to the restroom is quite amazing. Much respect to the artist that did that Believe his name is Russell. TLDR: place is good, Food was quite good, a very instagrammable spot since its quite unique for a café.. Art work is very nice, so its worth the visit
This is an ABSOLUTE MUST GO HERE DESTINATION!!! It BAR NONE has the absolute best decor out of any coffee shop around! It is right out of the Take On Me music video! This setting sets the tone for great conversations with your friends and family members who accompany you here. Outside, there are plenty of tables and seats on the South facing lawn as well, but it is inside that you will want to go for sure!! The artisan cupcakes and lattes here are amazing too. This is absolutely well worth a drive down from Calgary to experience this great shop! I wish we had the same in Calgary!
This is the most intriguing bakery and Cafe I have encountered. Staff is extremely friendly and efficient, the baked goods are amazingly decorated and tastythey even have dog treats, and the coffee selection is wonderful. A very welcoming cozy atmosphere!
What a great little coffe shop and bakery! I love the interior. We ended up with mini cheesecakes chocolate caramel and lemon and some macarons to take out. Will definitely return and stay next time.
