I recently found brooks brothers as I was shopping for a large selection of new dress shirts approx 10 Shirts. I went into the store and the female sales staff were amazing. They sized me perfectly and provided all the patterns I had to choose from. I bought 4 shirts in person and ordered 2 more and a belt online when on sale and was very impressed. I even told several co workers about the positive experience. When the ordered shirts came in, I tried 1/2 on it fit perfectly as the other 4 I own did so I threw both in the wash not dryer. Upon trying the second shirt on several days later, I noticed there was a severe manufacture defect. The arms literally came down to my elbows. The size on the shirt, as well as the receipt were correct. I called the local brooks brothers and spoke with the Male manager. He said no problem they will exchange the shirt. When arriving at the store several days later, I'm met by the same manager that I had spoke with. He is immediately insisting they will not return the shirt, and quite honestly looking down on me. He implied I wore the shirt and was now trying it return it. I was literally wearing another brooks brother shirts- I obviously like them. He stated several times that he "wasn't a nobody at this store" almost flexing his "superiority" over me. It was very clear that this staff member did not feel I was not of quality enough to be in his store. He said there is no way he would have agreed to return this shirt. I had actually called from my work a financial institution and all of our phone calls are recorded. I offered to play this as potential solution everyone has a bad day and I was really shocked about this whole interaction considering I pre vetted the exchange. I was met with the following " you are threatening me, I'm asking you to leave my store". Now I'm not sure of the exact exchange policy with this company, however I will state that I called the brooks brothers 1-800 # and they exchanged without issue or mention of this story. I have since ordered online 3 more shirts but will NEVER be returning to the store. I considered Brooks Brothers a Premium Brand with Premium Service. I certainly did not receive that.
Made a quick stop here before a job interview because I needed a shirt. The lady working there got me measured right away and had a shirt pressed and ready in about 10 minutes. Overall, customer service was great. For the record I got the job.
Most of the staff here are downright rude and unpleasant. I had an argument with a Male sales associate who insisted I didn't know my shirt size. I own many Brooks Brothers shirts, and do know my size. At other times, I am met with scoffs or sighs when I do not want to purchase an item after trying it on. If you don't immediately start making decisions i.e. generating commission, don't expect much in the way of help.
I went to purchase a pair of shoes and shoe trees, I was helped by the lady in the upper floor, and received excellent customer service. They didnt have my color shoe cream light brown, but sge said they do usually carry it.
Most amazing experience ever. We are from Kelowna, came for a visit. During boxing day no less. Had a top tier, first class service from start to finish. The staff is Amazing! So knowledgeable, not only that they fit your suit to you. Thank you Brooks Brothers. We are forever customers.
I was there today 12-nov male representative was rude, verbally abusive, i was in the trail room representative said - looks like you are here to make mess not buying,, No sense of dealing with clients, will be reaching out to corporate for his aggressive behaviour, i have been shopping at brooks from many years, this representative was rude, senseless. Asked for his name — he said sasha , not sure if he told truth tall , old man description. Reached to the other team member , she said please shop anywhere else . Looks like team members supporting abusive behaviour Terrible service for that guy working on nov-12-2021 around 2-3pm . Worst experience of shopping.i wish i could have made a video however will be reaching out to corporate for cctv. , he really needs to learn a lesson.
I would never purchase from here again. Bought a suit and despite taking trousers back to be hemmed three times they couldn’t get it right. Ended up taking them to a tailor to get done properly. Would recommend Nordstrom instead, better quality and range of suits, far better customer service and professional tailoring while you wait.
We were helped by Trish, who was friendly and attentive; my shopping experience felt personalized without any pushy sales tactics. She even climbed into the display window to pull a dress off a mannequin as it was the only one in my size. The clothes here are beautiful and well made. They are pricier, but most of the pieces have a classic feel and are the type to remain fashionable for many years.
I was very disappointed. Brooks Brothers, to me represents affordable and attainable luxury for those who can't afford or have no interest in bespoke clothing. I went in asking to be sized so that I could purchase a selection of shirts online. The lady who assisted me and who was, in my opinion, extremely off-brand frequently left and was often nowhere to be found. I kept asking to be fitted in less-casual shirts and she continued to bring me the most casual shirts the store offered. When I asked a second time for a formal shirt, she curtly informed me that "they all fit the same". How is it that a Brooks Brothers associate does not know that cloth weight and weave VERY MUCH AFFECTS fit? I left with an altogether altered view of Brooks Brothers. I love the company, but my experience today did not represent the attention-to-detail for which the brand is known.
An exceptional men's clothing and accessories department with luxury-class products and top-notch service. It's the only place in town for long-point collar dress shirts, in my opinion. A true pleasure to shop here.
