Small decent breakfast place, they were busy, so service is a little slow, but we are not in a rush. Food is good and wait staff are nice.
Broadway Deli offers a homey dining experience. While it is part diner, it also feels part cafe. The food offerings are more nuanced than you will find at your standard diner. I enjoyed the eggs with corn beef hash. The coffee was better than standard diner coffee. The atmosphere also more resembles a cafe. Server staff were pleasant and the food was filling. I would return and would also like to try to lunch.
$23 and still hungry. First thing my girlfriend said when she picked up the bag and got in the truck to go home was it felt really lite for two large sandwiches. The Reuben had maybe three ounces of corned beef on paper thin butter soaked bread and a pinch of sauerkraut with hardly any thousand island. The mushroom pesto sandwich the bread size was much smaller than the Reuben even though they were both ordered as large. They tasted good… but the sizing for the price was ridiculous and the bread was as super thin and hadn’t been completely filled in with the sandwich ingredients. It should be completely filled from crust to crust especially if you call your store a delicatessen. A $13 sandwich shouldn’t only have $3 dollars worth of food in it. I thought maybe it was fluke since the place was busy when we picked up our food and people seemed to enjoy it, but after getting home can’t send it back if it’s picked up and eating, I checked the reviews a bit closer and after reading the response of the owner to one of the reviews I now realize I won’t be back. His long reply sounded like nothing more than excuses as to why the customer was wrong and how hard it is to run his business. As the customer that is not my problem, I just want a large sandwich to be just that, large and worth the money, and service that reflects quality. Try another place and save your money and time by avoiding this one. Oh, and the pickles smelled like fish. No joke, gross.
Great good, honey favorites with interesting variety, yummy and healthy, my favorite breakfast place in Brunswick. I don't know the waiter's name but he's a sweetheart.
Such friendly staff, and really cozy inside, and excellent food as well. We were just passing through town on a road trip, and found this place, and ordered a few dishes - a mushroom, spinach, and sausage omelette, a poached pesto bowl, and 2 eggs benedicts: irish and regular ham. The side of potatoes were a bit too much for us to finish, but otherwise the food was great. The interior wall decorations were really pretty. I could see this as a go-to local choice.
As a local, I have walked by this place numerous times and always commented on the amazing smell resonating from here. I once walked in to purchase a beverage from the cooler and an employee told me to come back for food sometime. He said it is ‘the best’ around. So today I had breakfast there. I’m sad it was today since I’ve wasted so much time and money eating at other establishments. This is hands-down my favorite place to go. Wow the food was outstanding. They had vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free faire. Everything was very fresh and the veggie sausage was home made by the owner, Nancy. They use real maple syrup and have fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee is from Maine and served in large coffee cups. Service was fast, and the staff were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
The food and service was amazing! They were so nice and the food was excellent! Definitely going back very soon. The gluten free french toast was the best I've ever had and the on demand homefries with veggies were delicious.
Very nice cafe. Food is really good yet found some of the portions on the small side. But I must admit I prefer quality over quantity so I would definitely recommend checking it out, as it's a great atmosphere and the food is very good.
The food here was absolutely amazing. Especially the blueberry pancakes to die for. I strongly recommend this place and the staff was so kind Thanks for a wonderful experience.
