I have been practicing the regular traditional style in Ontario for 10 years. When I moved to Alberta in July, I really wanted to experience a sense of community variety of workshops and positive energy in a studio. My heart brought me to Breathe. I immediately felt incredibly welcomed by the front desk staff and all of the teachers who in turn have a very empowering yet motivating teaching style. Having just completed a 30 day challenge, I was able to expand my practice to other styles and teachers- all incredible. Love love love Liana's classes, Julie, Sara, Chris, Angie to name a few. My only feedback at this time is to add more of the traditional style classes for the many students like myself who are very loyal to the original hot yoga style. Having a variety of times available for this style will make us all very happy with consistency. I am very fortunate to have found Breathe and look forward to this regular healing practice in the many years to come !
Breathe Hot Yoga is my home away from home! I have tried a handful of different styles of yoga and a few different instructors and I love them all! You can tell the teachers there have had proper training and know what they are doing, they easily relay the instruction without skipping a beat. The studio is such an inviting space and kept so clean! I feel so much better now that yoga is in my routine. Can't wait till my next class!
Beautiful, clean facility. The classes are actually hot! Other places iv been too for "hot" yoga end up being just kind of warm. Excited for new Britannia location as it will be the closest to my home. It had been 5 years without yoga for me when I decided to come to breath. Lots of classes to choose from which made kt easy to get back into. Thanks Breath <3
Beautiful studio. Clean, peaceful, calming and great instructors. First time back in a while and had a FLOW class with Meg last night at 630 pm; highly recommended class+instructor. Really great. Thanks also for the bday bring a friend pass! Partner really enjoyed it. Really kind and generous gesture. Cheers!
I love the vibe of both studios. Their instructors are knowledgable and clear. Make sure you go to Sara Gerow's Trad Hot class if you're a TH person. Literally THE BEST TH teacher I've ever had guide me. Her cuing is on point and she delivers with a beautiful blend of gentle assertiveness. Liana Ledgerwood's Baptiste and Yang/Yin classes are also fantastic. Both exceptional teachers, not just in cuing but the spirit they bring into each class. Would highly recommend to anyone.
A very beautiful, clean and peaceful space. The instructors are high quality and passionate about what they do. My only gripe would be how closely the mats are to one another in a class that is at full capacity.
It really helps to have Liana’s guidance and insights throughout the class. She is an amazing instructor!
I love breathe! Have been going years and have a consistently positive experience. It's always clean, the teachers and classes are wonderful, and the studio is spacious and beautiful. They also offer many more classes than a lot of other studios that makes it easier to sneak a class into my schedule. Highly recommend!
Fantastic Studio. Very clean and spa like decor and ambiance. Have blocks there for free to use during practice and all sorts of neat stuff for purchase. Front desk staff are always welcoming and friendly. Instructors are knowledgable and are able to teach classes suitable for all sorts of experience levels. I always leave feeling great after practice. I always go to the Avenida mall location as it is closer to me on Elbow Drive. Would recommend!
