Delicious made-to-order sandwiches on soft, fresh bread with the perfect crust — this place is a total gem! Lunch was so filling we didn’t get a chance to try the baked goods. But there’s always next time!

Such a peaceful atmosphere. Great music - lots of great food options. I got a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie for under $5. I hope to eat lunch here sometime soon in the future! Sandwiches, soups and salads, yogurt with fruit are just a few of things on the menu. Vegetarian options: Lots of salad and soup options Kid-friendliness: Like any cafe there are cookies and sandwiches that will appeal to kids.

2 delicious soups, made in house, plus specials offered daily. Lots of tempting dessert choices including huge cinnamon rolls and poppy seed rolls, again, all made in house. Cheerful, friendly staff. Oh yeah, they have great coffee too!

Love this place. Not a huge menu, but what they make, they make well!! Custom made sandwiches, soups, yummy bakery items, great coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as take out options.

I ordered an Americano and was given the option of skim milk or 2%. I generally don't drink milk and go for the oat milk but since they had no Dairy alternatives I opted for the 2% option and she gave me homogenized. Their grinder for their coffee beans needs serious calibration, a double shot espresso should take 20 to 25 seconds but this shot came out in less than 10 seconds as a result the coffee tasted like water with a subtle hint of coffee flavor lol. They were friendly but I think they need somebody who knows coffee working there to help them set up and calibrate their grinder and machine. You could have the best coffee in the world and if your machine and grinder aren't calibrated it's not going to matter.

What a great cafe! We visited Parksville in November 2021 and found this gem of a cafe as we were driving out of town looking for some lunch before we left. It looks pretty new and crisp inside but we were met with warm smiles and friendly conversation. The staff were so easy to talk to and very efficient with our orders. We had the soup and sandwich for lunch. Corn chowder had a very good flavour and was nice and hot, sandwiches were made with fresh, soft bread and fixings to our liking. My favourite part was a delicious latte and cinnamon knots to finish off our experience. Seems all of their food and beverage is very high quality. I recently read a review of a patron conducting his business in the cafe and gave a 2 star rating because the owners asked him to condense his workspace. Owning a business on the island is not an easy task and giving a business a 2 star rating because the patron wants to use the wifi, electricy and apparently the space for nearly free is not right. This is a privilege, not a right, be respectful.

I always stop at this cafe whenever I visit Parksville. The owner has always provided me with good service during every visit. The coffee is excellent and they have good pastries. The cafe has a nice relaxing ambience.

Wonderful breakfast! Absolutely loved the skillet. And All of their tasty treats. We quite enjoyed their delicious cinnamon bun Would definitely recommend for breakfast!

Awesome place.we were in hurry to catch ferry to denman island and stopped here for breakfast.lovely owner.place is very very clean.bathrooms were clean.we had mushroom soup greek salad only 6 dollar and they gave so much for that moneymy wofe had breakfast sandwich with sausage she finished in mimute.i had also grilled cheese.all of them were so good.not so good was coffe.but nothing to break star.they got my 5 star.
