Had the chicken and the shrimp bowls. The proteins were so flavourful and well seasoned. All the salad and additions to the bowl were fresh and interesting. Will definitely be back soon!
I have only tried Peruvian cuisine from one other place, Los Chicos in Markham. It's one of my favourite places and some of the best chicken you'll have, so I gave this place a try since they had a 2 for 1 on UE. I ordered the bowl, and it was delicious. The portion was fair and the ingredients were fresh. The only negative things are related to personal preference: The chicken appeared to be mixed rather than breast I prefer breast The golden beets would have been better in smaller pieces The flavour is a little strong so smaller pieces would be better imo Definitely great food and worth checking out. I'd say Los Chicos still has a slight edge in the chicken department, but this place is definitely worth it! Looking forward to trying their other dishes
The Hot Brasa chicken bowel It's sooooooo delicious and FRESH. THE TASTE IS SO DIFFERENT the aorma in the food. I have been hospitalized for a while and couldn't eat much. So I decided to try something healthy and came across this beautiful restaurant on my Ubereast and HAD TO TRY IT. GUYS THIS FOOD IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD AND FRESH and healthy and the portions are soo good you can't miss with this. Definitely buying again yumm
Superior Street Food @ Brasa **right before close on their first day back from a long weekend, so you know their busy time will be better. How? I have no idea as this experience floored me** Upgrade your fast food experience with a stop in their basement kitchen. Make no mistake, this is Peruvian food done with a flair. Flavour wise, nothing overpowers anything else at least in the two we tried and the textures are spot on as well! **even the raw broccoli was handled and cleaned with care** There is very little to mention as a negative other than not being able to have it every day. The flavours present in my short rib bowl were well thought out and they made the textures even more interesting. Warmth and little pops of heat. Lightly crunchy greens to clean your palate as a finish. The flavours in the marigold bowl also very much complimented each other. Feta was well cubed, and washed while the textures in the corn were fun and innovative. I will be returning and I hope you do as well!
Brasa Peruvian Kitchen is a hot Peruvian take on the salad bowl. The ingredients are all either locally sourced or all the way from Peru! I had the Yellow Chili Pepper Shrimp bowl which was a spinach based salad with scrumptious yellow chili pepper shrimp as the protein, mixed in were Peruvian sweety drop peppers, Peruvian toasted corn, and golden beets. It was complimented by a unique mango tumeric dressing and a lemon wedge for a splash of citrus. I had never tried Peruvian sweety peppers before, and now count them as a favourite vegetable. They are so naturally sweet! My husband had the Hot Brasa Chicken bowl, and devoured it within seconds even though the serving size was generous!. This bowl consisted of a mixed green salad topped with Brasa roasted chicken, mint cucumber, Panca garlic, roasted potatoes, raw shredded carrots, Peruvian salsa, and golden beets. Served with hot rocoto lime sauce. I wish I got to steal more bites of this, because the chicken was rockin'. I will definitely be ordering this the next time we visit. It's not often you find a spot that is both healthy AND delicious. We'll be back to try some more of their guilt-free bowls soon!
Ordered in delivery on UberEats and the Hot Brasa Chicken bowl was amazing! I added in the yellow chili pepper shrimp and loved it. Lots of protein, so flavourful and a nice kick. It was super fresh and arrived nicely packed and even had a showing who packed it. I’ll definitely be ordering it again soon. So happy to see modern Peruvian culinary on the rise.
For someone who truly does not like salads and sees no point of ordering it, I was convinced to. And I'm happy I did. They're delicious and the taste is addicting. They're fresh, colorful and unique. The portions are just enough to fill you. Definitely suggest and will order again.
I’ve ordered the Andean Roasted Potato Bowl from Uber Eats and I was delightfully pleased with the perfectly roasted planca garlic potatoes. What was a real surprise was the crunchy toasted Peruvian corn and sweety drop peppers. Truly delicious. Just this past week I was able to visit Brasa’s new location which opened in the First Canadian Place. Here I had the Hot Brasa Chicken Bowl. This meal included a generous portion of roasted chicken had the perfect amount of heat to it. I’m a big fan of beats and the golden beats in this bowl are served to perfection. Thanks Brasa!
Charming underground ordering system. Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely gorgeous street-level patio. Delicious entrees. Vegetarian options: Lots of veg options.
Tasty take out spot with fresh, delicious bowls and salads. If you are looking for something slightly healthier than your typical take out, I would highly recommend Brasa. Not much space in their downstairs location but there are also great tables outside and parks nearby. Super friendly staff!
