Picked up cherries, peaches, corn and watermelon. Everything was good except the watermelon. The inside was yellow and full of seeds. Shame on us for buying Cdn grown watermelon. Shame on them for selling these.
Absolutely love this fruit stand. I make sure I visit annually. I load up on some fruit for my vacation in Osoyoos and before heading home I stock up on as much as I can. Chatted with the owners, unlike a lot of the other stands, they grow and sell a big chunk of the fruits and vegetables that they grow on their own farm. They have in stock and sell whats fresh and available - an important thing to recognize. Their prices are listed, they weigh everything and it’s been a fair deal. I’m at a loss as to why other reviews have to call out the ethnicity of the owners. May that be a word of cautious of the very bias reviews you might be reading. Ive found the owners to be extremely helpful, and farmers who enjoy selling their produce. Many of us don’t blink twice when spending double at Costco, I’m glad I found a fruit stand I can support here.
Bought 20 lb box of cherries. Got the home the same day only to find the bottom 1/3 were cracked and spoiled. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Tourist trap, be very careful, prices are exorbiant, the East Indian, elderly lady at the cash, tried to charge my wife who is French $16 for a few items. When my wife reacted to this, the lady said sorry and went to $7! Even $7 was much too expensive!! Caution when shopping here......
Very disappointed with the Rainer cherries and apricots we just got here last Saturday. The top of the box of cherries was ok but the cherries beneath were bruised, not ripe so hard and bitter and some very small. The box of apricots were the same way. The box of cherries was full of ants as well. About 200 of them in the bottom of the box when we emptied to clean the cherries. Not impressed in the slightest and will never go back here.
The gentleman opened early for us as we were traveling towards Alberta early in the morning. He was very hospitable, we got some cherries and they were very good.
Produce is alright, peach and blueberry pie is phenomenal. Home made and crust is delicious.
Not only does this place have excellent fruit! But my car broke down in front of it, and the staff were so kind and let me use their water supply to get us back on the road!
Thoroughly check the basket before buying. Have found bruised pieces that were inedible. I suspect they were oriented in the basket to show good side up, almost hidden.
Great people, family run business always smiling and friendly service and the fruit is amazing!!!
