I just share my experience. My son's bike got stolen at YMCA on Thanksgiving day at noon. He reported to Brantford Police and two officers came right away. Within less than 24 hours, the bike found and delivered to my house. They're done their job to serve and to protect very well, not only to take care of big cases, but also small cases like we had just now. I really appreciate the support, the effort, and the willingness for the officer that handled the case and Brantford Police in general. All the best!
I work for blue line transportation and I took a passenger to brantford and customer took off without paying the fare and I have no way of getting my money and I call the brantford police . The lady at dispatch was very professional and polite n got me help right away and another officer called me and got me money within ten mins . I’m grateful for great work from brantford police , very helpful and got help within mins . Thank you
Fraud detective refuses to do anything about vehicle theft because he knows the theif. Claims that the person in possession of a stolen car is not in possession of stolen property.
Extremely sad excuse of a police force. Anytime me or my family have needed the police whether it’s for advice, to attend or simply do their job, investigate and lay charges- they never do their job. I’ve waited weeks for call backs regarding serious issues. I’ve had operators be extremely rude, and unhelpful when I’m distress. Something really has to give and change with the way this police force is run. People of the city of Brantford are paying via tax dollars, they need to pull up their socks and do what they all swore to do when they were hired. Serve and protect. Not laze and avoid.
Thought police suspose to served and protect more like served and ignore I made a police call few months ago in kw they put me through to them very rude weren't co-operative over the situation then later one month later you guys answered makes no sense because 2 ppl call you before you ignore and Now I'm hearing don't investigate vandalism anymore has to be done online this is why there's alot more crime to where they ignore the call and Don't trust anything I'm very Glade the Waterloo regional police and kitchener police are doing there best at it and is very less crimes because of this I feel much safer... pandemic over some things are sliding guess even protection too... Use to be a security guard wanted to make a difference for something this is beyond worse and we invite it to begin with...
This review isn’t just about this police station this is about my experience as a whole with brantford police officers on the job, I have lived in many cities across Ontario and dealt with many officers in many cities, in my life I have never ever seen a more professional more respectful more amazing police officers in Ontario or even Canada, Brantford police officers are the finest most professional officers I have ever met in my life and they are extremely nice ontop of being extremely professional. Moving to this city was the best thing I ever done in my life
While the province launched a effort to crack down on loud exhausts systems on vehicles, Brantford Police appears to not care. 4 weeks after filing an online complain about a neighbor who wakes up the whole neighborhood with his broken exhaust at 5 am , nothing is being done. I called to check the status of my complain and was told that the case has not been assigned. The ethernal excuse that the department is understaffed will probably be the reply. Brantford is overran by loud exhausts - broken or aftermarket mufflers. I observed police cruisers driving alongside such a noisy vehicle and do nothing. I guess they have the "discretion" to enforce the law based on their own likings. Officers themselves may own loud aftermaket mufflers on their own vehicles. We hope that things will change and Brantford Police steps up and quiets diwn out streets.
Lady that answered the phone was a lier, very rude and unprofessional. Called on behalf of a large tax paying construction company, I was very professional, clear and polite and asked to be transferred to a supervisor in charge, and she told me to "shut up and listen". Then after trying to tell me that there is no supervisor working, and me not letting up, she just transferred me without saying a word. Horrible. Great representation of the city of Brantford and their great police force... won't mention the officer we called to complain about that threatened our employre with charges that didn't exist because he was too lazy to do his job. He took it back after, so we will keep him anonymous. Horrible dealing with our "protectors"
I called the police about a girl in my building who is harassing me. They questioned me about my mental health and took me to the hospital. I admit I was a bit shaken up but it was only because of the situation. They treated me like I was in the wrong. The police officer that took me to the hospital was nice but the whole trip was unnecessary. I had to beg the police officer to go speak to the girl afterwards and ask her to leave me alone. It was a bad experience and it traumatized me. I will no longer be calling the police for help
Stopped by the police station for a criminal background check that I needed for school. Walked in and the receptionist was beyond rude. "Can I help you?" In the rudest tone, told her I needed a criminal background check. "Do it online, we're not accepting them in person, can't you read the sign on the door? Rolls her eyes what, one of the MILLION signs on the door? What a waste of time. Customer service has gone downhill. Glad our tax paying dollars keep her at work
