Brampton Library - Cyril Clark Branch

We visited the Cyril Clark Branch today as we had registered for the Bird Walk organized by the Brampton Library in the Loafer's Lake natural habitat. The library is spacious, with a good collection of books, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an interaction with the library staff about the 1000 books before kindergarten project and it was very fruitful. The Bird Walk was also organized very well with a specialist brought in to give us deeper insights about the birds. Bird kits with binoculars were provided for the walk, which itself was very pleasant given the beautiful natural habitat of Loafer's Lake.

Too noisy to read and pay attention . The kids are playing, singing and running all around in the library. Everyday there is some kind of activities going for kids in the centre of the library.

Not ideal for studying. The library is very noisy due to kids activities. They have programs almost everyday where the play games and kids scream and run around. And after program is over kids are hyper and running around library. They also have toys out for kids to play and a lot of loud screaming and crying and fighting. Also this kids area is located right in middle of library the noise carries throughout the entire library.nEven the quiet area is affected by the kids screaming, as quiet area is near entrance of library, as kids come and go from program there is a lot of tantrums scream kinds tapping on window of quiet areanPlaying and screaming while waiting for rides.nThis library is more of a playground than a place to read and study.nPersonally I prefer a little noise when I’m studying I don’t like complete silence so this library is not ideal.

It was great experience to study there.
