Simply amazing cabin on the middle fork of John Day river. On the property are “rescue” horses, donkeys, a few goats, chickens and friendly dogs. The section of books was worth the trip. I wanted to stay all day instead of returning to my bicycle for the journey around the Old West Scenic bikeway.
My husband and I had a great stay at Boulder Creek Ranch and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a beautiful, peaceful area surrounded by National Forest great for hiking and biking road and mountain. Les and Scotta were interesting, informative and hospitable hosts who gave us needed information on bike touring in the area.The cabin was comfortable, clean and had breakfast supplies. We would return here again in a heartbeat. I doubt that the 1 star reviewers have ever been to the ranch but are instead voicing their political beliefs.
Wonderful place, welcoming hosts. We had a great family trip.
