This hotel is plain on the outside and luxurious and comfortable inside. I had a spacious room with large, comfortable furniture. The location is beautiful, high in the Rocky Mountains. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always helpful. I loved staying here and I look forward to staying here again.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing experience. Staff was attentive and kind. The interior has a log cabin feel that I have not seen in other hotels in the Boulder area. Spacious, great bathrooms, awesome surrounding area.Rooms: 5/5
I honestly don't even want to give one star. When I first got here we were told that the key cards wouldn't work that the manager had stolen the master key card and ran away with it. We were a little leery but we're told there would be someone here to let us in our room should we need. We got locked out of our room tonight and can't seem to get a hold of anyone we have been trying for the last hour and 10 minutes and still cannot seem to get inside. I can't believe I paid $200 to sit in a Lobby all night
The staff was friendly and helpful, as were all of the local shop owners we met during our stay. Location is perfect for getting to Eldora. Five-stars all around! Walkability: Easy to get anywhere in town on foot.
The room itself was great. The hotel could use a little TLC. They are relying on no current competition in the area, that can only last so long though.
I can't believe I'm saying this but we only stayed one night and I wish it was more! Stayed with my family and everyone loved it. The family rooms are amazing. The game room is perfect. The river flowing right outside is beautiful. The owner is kind and helpful. My wife is allergic to dogs and cats and had NO issues while there. The owner worked with us last minute to minimize her reaction. And the beds were comfortable!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent for exploring the town of Nederland being within 1-2 blocks of a multitude of restaurants, breweries, etc. Being right by the Creek was an added bonus as we were able to listen to the calming water from right outside of our window. The lodge was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming and very dog-friendly for all you fellow dog lovers. We will be back!
Came up to Ned a few weeks ago after being on the East coast for a while. Couldn't wait to get here, heard the place changed hands since my last visit, I've got to say, WOW, what happened? Really run down, vegetation outside has been neglected. Parking lot needs some serious cleaning. Room was standard, you can tell they tried to give it that mountain feel but 'meh' for me. Our door didn't lock properly and our window wouldn't close all the way. Sheets were thin as could be, blanket worn out. Ran out to the car to grab my charging cable before bed and couldn't get back in for what seemed like forever since the doors were all locked even your key card won't help get you in. I asked to speak with the manager next morning to discuss matters and the girl at the desk said she was the manager and all she could do was put in a service request. Seemed to have no concern at all. Maybe it's the way of the world now, but not for me. I will not be back. I suggest you look elsewhere too. Totally disappointed. Best thing about this place is the creek, but they can't take credit for that!
Rooms were clean and the cabin decor was great. Staff was friendly. Location was great for hiking in the front range. A little annoying that there was a not a card reader on the outside door.Rooms: 5/5
I'm very greatful to the people who help me when I was in need. It's just well 200$ a night and if your coming to visit the town closes at 7pm so you should get yourself some food in Boulder. There's unfortunately not enough staff. So calling the front desk isn't really an option. Nice people don't get me wrong. But for half the price you can stay in the city, with much bigger and comfortable rooms. Than if you'd like take a day trip up to the mountains to soak in the beauty.
