We came here before and after Pandemic, quality of food and service did not change. Every single dish execute super well, solid and well balance flavour. Waiter and waitress explain the dishes and the wine pairing was surprising in a good way. Portion smaller than before but still acceptable. Keep up the good work, and see you again soon.
I have been to other nicer restaurants in Montreal but this was definitely the highlight. Bouillon Bilk is easily a place I’d recommend everybody to try as there’s no way you can regret it. They are great with working out accommodations for you in case there’s allergies or intolerances. We had the tasting menu and it was just so beautifully put together! My top choice when picking a spot for celebrating something special next time.
Very nice decorations , taste is ok point. Amazing wine / sparkling selections. The cod was freaking amazing. Will come back! Expect to spend minimum 100$ a person with a good bottle of wine. Not recommended for BIG eaters. This is a place to enjoy the quality.
This is our first night in Montreal and was welcomed with their amazingly delicious food. Everything from the service, the food presentation, and the taste were all perfect as the locals like to say. Our family almost ordered everything from the menu and all were executed to perfection. I’d recommend to all my friends and would love to come back for more.
We had the 8 course tasting menu and it blew our minds! The crab and the octopus were the best as they were loaded with flavours! Service was top notch as well. For sure coming back next time we’re here in Montreal!
. My and my wife were strolling donw the street looking a place have lunch, she looked inside of the window then said "This place must be good" she googled the place and we just walked in. We opted for the tasting menu$50 for person. And my wife was rightagain... foods were amazing, staffs were even better, the place is on certain level formal but not to a level where it feels little pretentious so you feel comfortable . Great atmosphere! Hands down the best place Ive been in Montreal!
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything paired well together. Though one downside was that the scallops were over-salted. Might have been just our plate. It is pricey but well worth. Will definitely return
We had a wonderful lunch here where all five members of our party really enjoyed the food and that is saying a LOT! Two of us ordered from the prix fixe menu and the rest decided to try a la carte dishes. To start: octopus and hiramasa dishes were excellent, as was the salmon starter from the prix fixe menu; corn soup and fig + fennel salad were lovely. Main dishes: scallops were REALLY good a high mark from our very picky children, Cornish hen was terrific, so were the two items from the prix fixe menu - beef and sea bass. There was barely room for dessert but we went for it anyway! Chocolate, strawberry and a plate of ice creams really hit the spot. Kid-friendliness: We came here with three children, ages 4 to 13, and everyone enjoyed the food
This was one of the best dining experience we've ever had. We were lucky to get an 8:45 reservation and the table was available to us immediately when we arrived. Two of us ordered a five course tasting menu plus a full size grilled octopus and scallop dish and some wines. The server was very nice to walk us through what and how to order and arrange how the dishes should be served, given that we didn't each order a tasting menu. We love the uniqueness of each dish and the different components they have included in each dish. The ingredients are all so fresh and the presentation was extraordinary and vibrant. Our favorite dish was the grilled octopus, the texture of the octopus is something we've not experienced, very tender with some crunches on the outside. They were very good at the pace as well, the right amount of time between each dish and everything was served hot! Would recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience, worth it!
Was there on 1 August for an early celebration of my sister’s birthday. Thoughtfully prepared food with flavours that delight the palate. I can honestly believe that this restaurant is among Canada’s finest and one of the finest we have eaten in our other sister trained at a 3-star Michellin restaurant in Europe, so used to eating the best. We had the lunch prix fixe menu. We had an oyster preparation as an amuse- bouche, cold melon soup , pork prepared three ways as the main and a delightful strawberry- based dessert. Our server was really sweet as well.
