The food was excellent. All be it a tad expensive. I had the chicken soup and roasted potatoes and corn, the rest of our party got chicken caesar salad, a pot pie. And mac and cheese. All of our food was amazing and the soup tasted almost as good as my homemade variety. The salad was stunning and tasted great. And the pot pie was "next level" well be back when we are in the area again...
We came all the way from Muskegon to eat here for dinner. As we walked in, it felt very unclean. Before we were even greeted or could speak the woman behind the counter said it would be 15 minutes for chicken. WHAT???? It's a chicken place. How could they have run out??? And the sides looked sad. How long were they sitting there drying out and then would they have sat there for another 15 minutes while we waited for chicken?? We left. What a mess. Features: The entire places had an over all feeling and look of unclean.
So on the first I made an order on their app and paid with my credit card, the order was pick up 5:45 pm, I drive from Allegan to Holland to pick up my order and it was closed - they must’ve had call ins - whatever. So I call the next day the girl says my card should be refunded no apology by the way. So now we are a week later and no refund so I call again and the girl says call corporate, I ask her the number ans she says google it and hangs up me. I call the corporate number and it says to due high volume they are answering calls. So basically they stole my $. I will try to make a dispute with my CC company so hoepfully I will get my $ back. My advice go to one of the other 500 restaurants in Holland - steer clear of Boston Market!
Guy at the window was a sweetheart. The food was dry and looked old. Will def not be returning as I spent $17 on a meal that went right to the trash. Disappointed because I used to love eating here and thought I'd try it again since its been years.....
The food was great. Where the food is made looks clean. The outside of the building looks really run down...no one wants to eat at a place that looks like it might be abandoned. The inside dinning area also looks very run down. The wood chairs and tables need to be sanded down and refinished to get rid of the tacky texture or simply replaced with new and modern pieces. I think if they fixed their driveway, landscaping, and repainted the building and updated the inside they would get way way more business. The staff were kind and the food was great.
Wow, this place is a dump - the owner has really let it go. I lived in Holland 15 years ago, moved to Zeeland, so I've lived in the area - visiting this place maybe once a year. I swear the same huge pothole in the drive thru has been there for a couple decades. The prices are crazy for what you get - based on the most recent reviews, I didn't bother ordering, was afraid of getting food that's been sitting there all day. You're better off getting a chicken dinner at KFC says alot.
What a dump! Stopped here on my drive home, sign said "yes we're open!" and not a soul in sight. I grew up with a beautiful Boston market near me and I was so sad to see what a toilet this location is! A cocmroach wouldn't eat here!
Foods always good Parking lot needs some attention
What is the point of being open if you can't even go inside to do a carry out order but yet your doors are open, told them we would like a carry out order and was told no. Only drive thru. So you will make food for the drive thru but not carry out. Really?
Today we were the first people in the dining area when they opened at 11am. All the tables were filthy, covered with food and grease. The floor had food and trash on it. Straws and napkins weren't refilled. We asked for a manager and 15 minutes went by before she came out. When we asked why it was so dirty, they said they were busy last night. Made us wonder what else didn't get cleaned. Disappointed. Asked for our money back.
