Boom + Batten is a consistently great spot in Victoria, especially for the waterfront views. The food is fresh and well-executed, with a menu that offers something for everyone. The cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and the wine list has some great options.nnThe atmosphere is lively yet polished, making it a great choice for date nights, client meetings, or dinners with friends. Service has always been friendly and professional. Overall, a very solid dining experience I’d happily return to.
Today I took my mom today We never been here before and I wanted to take my mom to a place we haven't been and it was so worth it.nWelcoming and assisted my mother with a fear of heights and helped her through the side door. Very accommodating and never seemed bothered of the situation. Thank you for treating my mother with the upmost respect and making her feel less embarrassed towards herself.nThank you to the wonderful staff and to the chefs. Amazing food. My mother had the eggs bennies, and they looked amazing and she said it tasted great.nI had the scallops+ green pea risotto, it was amazing. The flavor in the risotto is delicious. Scallops cooked perfectly.nI can’t wait to come for dinner.
Amazing experience. Tha l you so much Maddie for going above and beyond to make my visit to Victoria great. Was sat right away and even was able to move to a new table with a better view when I asked. The food, service and view are all to die for here at B+B. Highly recommend the mission hills chardonnay from their happy hour menu, as well as the sablefish from the mains beware both are on the sweeter side. I will be coming back on my next trip to Victoria, thank you Boom and Batten!
Pretty good. We really enjoyed the decor and the views of the harbor. The food was good, but I always balance price in the equation. Tasty and fresh, but I felt it was expected at the price.nnWe got there a little later in the evening 8:00 pm with a 9:30 pm closing time. We sat at a high top in the bar which had a fabulous view and ordered quickly. But…nnI felt like the server had his eye on the clock. My credit card receipt said we paid at 9:17 pm, but I felt like something was up.nnAnyway… that could have been just an off night. I would still recommend going.
Nice atmosphere restaurant with the view.nThe foods was good and come with a decent portions.nI felt their staff quite short and we had to wait for a while for the menu and also when we need a bill, even only 1-2 tables in our area.
