Went in for one thing a journal and came out with The Grimms Fairy tales. This shop is so cute and just the right size with a very good and current variety of books for people of all ages and various interests. The staff were pleasant and helpful as well. Such sweet people.

Great shop for all your reading needs and wants. The best part is if they don't have what you want, they'll order it for you.

I discovered this while charging nearby. What a treat to find two independently owned places - a coffee shop next to a bookstore!!. Perfect. What a charming spot. I wish I could go to their event on August 21 2022 about food with writers and chefs and food. If I lived in Orangeville it would be my go to bookstore.

It didn't happen to have what I'm looking for and that's all. My two star review is ONLY based on that. Nothing more Other than that they have a huge selection of books! And for that I would another star for

It is a relaxing beautiful store.. Staff are friendly and very helpful

When I was younger I had a bookmark making business so I dropped off some samples here, nice laminated with real dried flowers and butterfly wings with nice yarn and ribbon strings. Upon my return to the store a week later, to see if they wanted to place an order, they had told me they threw them all out and wouldn’t be carrying them in the store. This crushed my young entrepreneurial spirit and I never went back. I would like to share this experience because I thought it was not how business should be done without courtesy or class.

Love, love, love this store. Nancy and Brenda and their staff at Booklore have extensive knowledge of books, new and classic.They have a terrific assortment of greeting cards for many occasions...many are wicked funny. Booklore is my candy store. As an added bonus, Booklore brings local and international authors to town for book reading events. This store is a treasure for Orangeville residents and visitors.

Great atmosphere. Great notebook selection. Nice variety for its size. Staff can and will look up and order upon request and call promptly when it arrives. Great to be attached to a nice little coffee shop.

For a small town, this shop has an excellent and varied selection of books! Very impressed. If they don't have what you are looking for in stock, they will try to order for you, as they did for me recently. Excellent book store to spend some browsing in.
