Went for early Mothers Day meal around 3pm on Friday. Had 2 specials written on the far wall by kitchen seared salmon with shrimp creamy risotto and chicken paella had a nice building heat, a bit much for me but my daughter loved it Flavor on point. Was quite during our visit, place was clean and servers on top of things. Timing the german Riesling wine was only 8% perfect for sipping at 3pm. Haha. Will go back. Side note..tried the spinach empadillas small empanadas a bit to spinach forward for us, wish it came with some kind of dip. Get out there and try this place!!!!
A bit pricey for a big family but delicious food nonetheless! Unique taste and friendly, helpful hostess. Definitely worth a try if you’re in Sherwood Park :
What a great find! We dined out on the patio. The food was sensational and the service Emily was topnotch! I ordered the 5 Tomato Salad $12 and the Chorizo Iberico Iberian black pork chorizo $12 and my husband ordered the Halibut Risotto Special Halibut, risotto, and prawns $34. It was plated beautifully and all the food was very tasty and fresh. Compliments to the chef for all the great tasty flavors. I can't forget to mention the Sangria's... so good! A great dining experience overall. We will definitely be back to this place. I also discovered that there will be a new location some time next year in Southeast Edmonton!
Absolutely love this place !!! First time coming here was with my girlfriend and we had the most amazing date night. Service was fantastic and so was the wine selection. They definitely don’t mess around when it comes to flavour on the menu items!! Definitely some of the best food I’ve had with reasonable prices. The atmosphere was really lovely and so was the lighting. Could easily spend an entire night here trying food and drinks off their menus ! Second time here we decided to bring friends and we all had a blast! We just ordered a bunch of tapas and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Perfect place to dine with friends and an even better date night place. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent food and incredible service. Waitress and all servers were quick and personable! We ordered a variety of tapas with my favourite being the bacon wrapped dates, braised boar cheek and the pork belly. We were full at the end of our meal and they were happy to accommodate a dessert to go! I will be going back again. Thank you for the excellent night.
Amazing new location of Bodega by sabor in sherwood park. We went on opening night and the service and food were incredible. I couldn't believe how efficient they were for their first night. I will definitely back as the food was awesome.
My hubby and I were in for dinner this evening.. first timers here and couldn’t be happier. This place was inviting, cozy not overly loud which was great to be able to have a conversation and not have to yell over the table at each other. Hate that. The food absolutely delicious! 5 star : we shared the Thursday special lots of things we’ve never had before and loved all of it & paired perfectly with their red wine. The service was on par super nice, friendly. A tad bit crowded but definitely recommend this place, by far the best bang for your buck. We will be back.
Excellent and much needed addition to the somewhat lacking Sherwood Park restaurant scene. Weekday deals and happy hour prices are great. Been here a number of times and feel like there is always something I have yet to try on their menu. Wine selection excellent. Service has always been prompt.
This the by far one of the best restaurants I have tried since coming to Alberta. They offer a good selection of wild game as well as traditional Portuguese food. They are on the pricey side, but the portions and the food is top quality, I can't complain. Even with the cost of food going up, they managed to find a reasonable price point for what they are offering while still maintaining the quality. The place is pretty busy, but still offers walk-in and tries to accommodate. We ended up sitting at the bar, which was a lot quieter. It is definitely a lively place, maybe a bit too loud. Might be worth investing in white noise generators or some sound proofing on the ceiling to cut the noise down a bit, but other than that it is a great place.
I have gone here numerous times, it is generally worth the visit but last night was the last time. Booked for a birthday dinner. The server ignored us and had a terrible attitude, once we told her twice we did not want alcoholic drinks and would just stick with water. She left a bottle of water and that was the last of her service. It seemed like we were troubling her just by being there. Food was timed poorly, our hot dishes cold. Long wait between plates. We had to ask a hostess to order additional plates and dessert. We had dirty dishes left on our table even when they brought out a new dish and had to ask someone walking by to clear it. We were left sitting there for nearly 30 minutes trying to make eye contact with her to get our bill. Poor service, food is mediocre for the price.
