Bobcaygeon Inn & Spa

Pub grub style menu. We have never had a bad experience here. The fish and chips is as good as any and the Yorkie is very tasty as well. I like that the price is lower than most chain restaurants but the food is as good. The view is great on the patio and inside the restaurant is very cozy. I will definitely keep going back.

We emailed to see if the patio would be open and received the answer that it was weather dependent from noon 7 days a week. We were saddened to hear it was closed when we arrived after our 3 hour drive, however when we asked to see it, the owner and server were more than happy to lead us out so we could check it out. We were disappointed we couldn't enjoy it but when we asked if we could bring our drinks out they were more than accommodating and let us sit there and even turned on the music. Couldn't ask for more! It's been difficult to get the appropriate staff in order to warrant opening both the indoor restaurant and patio so they have to make a choice! We were very happy with the service and their willingness to oblige us. Great job!! Thank you, we will be back!

We stayed one evening at the inn. Pros: - close to main street - pets allowed - husband had dinner at the restaurant and the service was good - nice little view of the waterway -bed was comfortable Cons: - the bathroom blinds were broken. We had to put a towel over the window for privacy. Only staying one night so no need to get it fixed. I should have taken a pic to show how bad it was - musty smell in the room - the restaurant entrance door slammed and would shake the room - the restaurant washroom is down the hall from room- noise and traffic - check out- no one was in the restaurant that is where you check in and out when we were ready to leave. left at 8:30 AM Would I recommend this place? No I would not. Unless you are in a bind and have no other options.

We were in a large group and were told our bills would be made in groups of 6. Most of us were couples. As a former server advised me, the customer should always be right and the tips would probably be better from couples as opposed to a group of 6. Maybe this is why staffing is such an issue at this establishment.Service: 3/5

Ribs absolutely fantastic, the caygeon burger very good. Wings overcooked, fries, well tbh..... every single time have been brown double or triple cooked not crispy at all. The garlic bread, very good. Very long wait times, worth it I think. Need way more staff, and bigger dining area

Hidden gem on the water. Best outdoor patio for miles around, best pub food I have had in a long time. Pics are Halloween night. Thanks Daniel! Rooms: Haven't seen the rooms bit I'm sure they are amazing, waterfront, waterviews. Nearby activities: Bobcaygeon lock 4 minute walk Watersports, Marina, foodland, home hardware, banks, Food & drinks: From what we've tasted... so far. Stay away from this Inn and restaurant. During our vacation in Bobcaygeon we decided to go out for dinner on a Tuesday. When we arrived we had to wait for our table about 30min. The patio was full and we soon noticed that no food was moving out of the kitchen and a lot of people were looking at their watches. We should have left at this time. Once seated our drinks came quick but this is when the service stopped. Our group of 6 waited 2hrs for our food. Earlier that day I had met the owners Owners arguing with a staff behind the bar. During our 2hr wait both owners were sitting drinking behind the bar and having their dinner. Funny how they received their food and the rest of us had to wait. One last comment don't go into the inn. This building should be condemned.

Good food! Very friendly staff. We did go when the sun was in the way but they have umbrellas at all the tables. Got a banquet burger very well made.Service: 4/5

Wife and I did the patio one Saturday, weather was on our side, view was great, food was very good , try the Bobcaygeon Sandwich, it’s typically pub grub with a good tap selection. Not much parking around the day we were there it’s a busy town come summer pack some patients

The service was great and views of the water are really nice in the fall. The caygeon chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing. Would totally recommend.Service: 5/5
