Boardwalk Cheesesteaks

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and WOW it's amazing; I was genuinely awestruck on the first bite. After enjoying my meal, my friend and I decided to talk with the owners about how good it was. It's clear that they're incredibly kind and passionate people who not only care about the quality of their food but also about how their customers enjoy it. Highly recommend. Thanks for the awesome experience! Side note: their fries are awesome too.

This is such a great addition to Ottawa Street! I have eaten at boardwalk a few times now and must say the food is delicious! My favourite sandwich has to be the Texas Rustler. And you need to try the coney island fries. I usually tend to call ahead to place my order just because they tend to get quite busy, especially around lunch time.

Almost a month after the grand opening the fam was finally able to try. This place literally has something for all. As a family of four, we all have differemt tastes and expectations of course. We tried the extravaganza and screemer and the tex. For sides the poutine and coney island fries and they did not dissappoint. The sandwitches were cooked to perfection, made hot and fresh off the grill. The poutine was so authentic i was so surprised by the quality. Considering 2 of us are men and there were still left overs it says alot. The qulity and quantity was wonderful to see the shop itself is clean and the staff works wonderful together. I cannot wait to go back and we have already discussed what we are trying next. In a world that is forever changing moments like this with the family are even more special. Thanks Boardwalk for the move to Ottawa st and what an assett to have local.

Oh so enjoyable, definitely try the home-made cheese sauce, the meat was tender and seasoned nicely. Roasted onions and peppers were excellent.

went there, honestly not expecting much, walked away having tasted the best cheesesteak I've ever had, and holy cow so many fries! 10/10 recommend, they are super friendly as well

Delicious food, friendly service, and honestly, incredible pricing. I got the extravaganza, and it was delicious! The staff, who I presume were the owners, were very kind. I got the combo, which was MORE than enough food and it was like $16. Hard to find good quality takeout at that price nowadays. Would highly recommend it, and I'll be adding it to my regular Ottawa St. rotation.

My husband and I have drove by this place many times n each time saying we should try there, well yesterday we finally stopped and let me tell you the food is unreal !! The fries are fresh cut and so thick and the cheese steak is absolutely fantastic the meats not "fatty" and the portion sizes are amazing on top of all that it's owned by a super nice couple that care so much about making there customers happy , very friendly and helpful with the menu if needed my only regret is not stopping here sooner lol if your in the mood for a good steak sandwich this is the place it's at...... the only thing I would say is the gravy was not the greatest I would have much rather a nice thick beef gravy to go with the absolute best fries in the city by far even better then hutches but that's not going to stop me from coming back. Thank you for a great meal and great service !! Support small and local businesses !!

Staff was very helpful when we were ordering since it was our first time. Food was delicious although sandwich was a bit dry. Everything is homemade. Chili fries to die for. We will definitely be back.

First time trying this place, was at the vape store right next door and I looked inside as I was walking by and was intrigued. Called the wife and she chose the boardwalk screamer and I went with the Texas rustler. In all honesty I think I found my new favorite place to eat. Absolutely amazing sandwiches and at such a great price as well!! Going to be stopping here for my lunches I buy before night shift from now on!!

I had a craving for a Philly cheesesteak. This restaurant did not disappoint. They had a special deal on the extravaganza combo. It came with so many fries that my husband had to help me finish them. We had to wait a while for the food to be prepared, but it was definitely worth the wait! Clean restaurant. Beyond friendly service. Delicious food. We’ll be back.
