This is the absolute worst BMO branch I have ever dealt with. The counter employees are great, but anyone else in the back is terrible. Especially over emails and support. Constantly chasing after them for answers, they constantly fogger about you. O do my business banking with them but am I VERY seriously looking to change banks. The service is TERRIBLE.

I opened my corporate bank accounts there an received amazing service. The banker that took on my file and serviced my account opening and follow-up requests gave me quick and courteous service and answers. Thanks

Everything went well during the appointment, it's really the post-appointment that was awful. After my appointment, the representative asked me to send him an email the following week to check up on the applications which I did, however, I received no answer. Additionally, I  tried to call him, no answer, left him 5 voicemails, still no answer, even after two weeks have passed. Similarly, I sent him 4 emails and never got a reply back. As such, I decided to call BMO customer service line to follow up with my situation. Customer service told me I have to contact that person again, so then I explained and still got the same answer. From my experience with that branch, the post-appointment service is very bad and I can't contact the representative at all to know the status of my application. I have work to do, I don't have time to go to the branch every time I need to know a little information. The representative in question should have just given me a callback or simply replied to one of my emails instead of going through all this hassle.

Exceptional Teller @ BMO Kirkland  We have been having difficulties using my wife's Master Card. It was impossible to access online and extremely long waits on telephone to talk to a person - who in fact did not solve the problem. She finally closed the account. A refund from a supplier created a credit balance in this account. We approached a BMO teller, Madison Ticehurst, who patiently listened to and understood our problem. She explained that the Bank could not return the credit balance and that we would have to talk to Master Card directly. On seeing our agitation, Madison offered to call them on our behalf and personally wait on line for the contact. Today my wife received a cheque from BMO for the refund. Please thank Madison for us and consider her a future star at your bank. She embodies great customer service.

I am extremely impressed with and appreciative of the very diligent, professional, friendly and quite personable young man who was the teller issuing me a money order last week at this branch.  It was a simple banking transaction, but he really brightened my day by being both friendly and efficient in providing service.  He is an excellent model of customer service as it should be.  In appearance, manner, and pleasant, brief and appropriate conversation he was extremely professional.  It is very heartening to see young people who really have it together.  Well done, BMO.  I suspect this young man will go places with your organisation.

UPDATE:  BMO gave a great response to the review below, the situation quickly and dramatically improved at this branch, and has been better ever since.  Well done, BMO.  ORIGINAL REVIEW: Long and confusing wait for branch service.  No bank employee comes out to the waiting line outside the bank and explains what's happening, and who can come in next.  Bank branch employees really take their time and have no sense of urgency.  Don't look like they have missed many meals lately either. If I worked at their pace in my profession, I would starve to death!  If I had driven from my home in DDO to my regular BMO branch in Westmount, I no doubt would have finished quicker than using this branch - travel time included! Service not bad once I got inside. In future I will find a way to very much avoid this BMO branch.  If they wanted my business, they would do a lot better!

Gets 5 star rating on customer service but 3 star in wait time. Regardless on what time or day I go there is always a line up. Don't get me wrong, I highly value great customer service but time is money so if I can get in and out in 5 minutes, I'm very happy. This applies when I have just one cheque to deposit in commercial account that I can't unfortunately deposit via interac.

The staff is really nice and they take their time... Which is a problem because there's two of them so it takes close to an hour to get served. Not the first time I come and always the same wait times.

I've been with BMO for over 20 years now and have always been well served in multiple BMO locations. The service at the Kirkland branch is unique. Particularly due to a little gem called Linda Reed whom has 25+ years with the bank & knows her stuff when it comes to mortgages !

Scheduled meetings as they suggest, no one called. We called left a message, again no one has called back. Received plenty of messages by text telling me that my payments are restarting but no one seems to be available for a call.
