BMO Bank of Montreal

I've been coming to this branch for over a year and have always been pleased with my service. True that it seems understaffed, so the wait can be a bit lengthy, but nothing unexpected. The tellers are friendly and helpful. I'll defend them against bad reviews cuz hey, everyone can have a bad day. When the wait was too long, the assistant manager helped me out at the ATM to make things go faster; very helpful person!

Very slow branch. Manager takes her break when theres only 2 counter agents working. Been here in line for 20 minutes. Glad you got your coffee break.

Arrogant teller supervisor and teller. I came in to order foreign currency and was told to go to the exchange business up the road. I came back to the bank because the exchange businesses could not help me (they laughed when I told them that it was the bank down the road that sent me to them because they said that they could not help me). I asked the teller why I could not order foreign currency through them when it is a service they provide, the response I got was that they had a new computer ordering system in place and that they did not know how to use it. She then proceeded to do the transaction but continued to talk to me using a haughty and immature attitude in front of her staff......hence the perpetuation of poor customer service at this branch.

customer since 4 years. Really nice staff. The bank manager pushes people to the ATM when the line is long and there are not enough tellers. He asks out right to people what thier business is in front of everyone. He could serve by manning a tellers post. But if the managers become tellers who will do the manager's job? All the banks are doing this. Bank patrons are sick of bank fees and cut services. They abuse of the privilege of having a charter.
