BMO Bank of Montreal

Employees here don't listen and don't help. I had the ATM up the street take my check (almost $3000) and here I am a week later still trying to get some real answers as to where my money is. The assistant manager and manager of this brand have out right lied to my face! No one at BMO can give me a straight answer as to where my money is. I've since opened another account and got a bank draft for what was in my savings leaving what was in my chequing to cover any direct deposit bills. The teller didn't listen and cleaned out all my acounts. When I confronted him he decided the best way to treat an already frustrated customer was to further argue about my initial request. So I had to drive to my new bank deposit the draft, get cash and then drove back to this BMO to deposit it. As of today (1 week from the first deposit) I'm being told that my cheque has just arrived at the cash management department and that it will be another 3 to 5 business day. I'm not taking any more chances and I've had the cheque cancelled and am waiting for a new one to be issued from my employer. This branch as no problem taking your money.... wait they. Even screw that up!

Worest experience ever ! $3000 gone! More than two months. Every time I came . Just some words you need wait. And nothing happened. No answer. No phone call.

Came 2 mins after closing both people I spoke with wouldn't give me my cheque book. I mean come on where is your customer service? It takes thirty seconds to be nice and be good at your job. I received a call it was in. I came all the way here from Cloverdale had to meet new landlord with cheques right after. Easy to fall back on company policy but way easier to just be nice. And your in customer service!! I will be switching banks for this. Beyond annoyed horrible location terrible customer service! When you refuse to help out with such an easy task its just Incredibly rude. The amount of time they spent telling me they couldn't it would of been far less effort to just be nice.

It's a bank. Does bank things. Seems to work okay I guess.
